Beautiful Piece
This piece was purchased as a gift to myself after extensive research on Protection Stones. This piece brings exact stones together that would be difficult to find (should each stone be purchased separately) and "make work" together in your pocket. It's larger and heavier than I had anticipated, however the satin cord it comes with is a nice touch.As a rule, the wearer should not allow for others to touch their stones (or amulets) as this affects the energy of the stone (amulet) and it's purpose. I do not wear it as a show piece and keep it under my shirt/blouse - not exposed for others to attempt to touch. The satin cord is long enough so that the amulet sits perfectly on the bra line (just between the breasts) thus keeping the amulet close to the heart at all times, and taking the tension off the neckline from the minimal - yet noticable, weight of the amulet. For a man, it may be bothersome, but its a personal preference in the end. (It's not THAT heavy.)...

Beautiful Pendant!
When I received this Pendant I was truly Amazed! It was larger than I thought it would be and also you can tell it is very well made! Not to mention the stones are gorgeous! I bought this for a friend who needed it and now I am going to buy 2 other Amulets for myself. It arrived quickly and the packaging was excellent! You can tell they really care about your product and making sure it gets to you intact. I can see in the future ordering many more of these Amulets as gifts for friends. Beautiful piece!
I ordered this piece specifically for the meaning of the stones - I work in a sometimes negative environment and feel like it can be really draining - thought this was a nice idea to keep the negative energy out. This is a really pretty piece - much larger than I expected. It arrived well protected and nicely packaged and came with a silky black cord. The invoice had a handwritten note on it which I thought was a really nice, personal touch and a card explaining the significance of each stone is included. There were also color catalogs included - some really gorgeous items that would make great gifts for anyone in touch with their spiritual side!

Beautiful Piece
I absolutely love my new amulet! I just received it today - it was actually delivered early. I've been looking for something like this for a long time and finally found it here. It is very similar to the photo displayed; however, if I could change one thing I would like for the yellow stone to be a richer color. If I didn't know it was supposed to be yellow I would just think it was another clear stone. Even so, these are unique, so I understood when I bought it that the color would vary. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and will most definitely order another!

Lovley piece of originality
I bought this item to give to a friend as a Christmas gift. Once I receievd it I was sad to part with it. I was almost going to keep it myself and purchase another gift for my dfriend, but alas, I gave it to her knowing she would love it. Once she understood the meaning behind the item she was estatic. The amulet does come on a velvet piece of rope you can tie in a knot and wear it on. Its a good choice for the stone but I do wish the rope might of had some kind of clasp on it, other than that I was extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Very Nice Amulet
This is a very nice amulet, heavy and well made. It has a sturday ring to hang it on also. My only complaint, which I am not taking off for because I see it's not shown in the picture, is the tiny bail that comes with it. An amulet this heavy has to be hung on a heavy chain, and it's not possible to pass a heavy chain through this tiny bail. Otherwise it's a very fine amulet that will probably last a lifetime.

Excellent mixed media jewelry book
I just received this book and after reading it in a weekend, had to leave a review. This book is a great text on mixed media jewelry fabrication. The book discusses concrete and faux bone (along with other interesting materials)as items that can be used in fabricating interesting, one of a kind jewelry. The projects are interesting and can be great places to start with your own designs. This book will be one of my favorites, along with Semiprecious Salvage and Altered Curiousities. If liked those books, you will probably like this one as well. All cold connections and the usual jewelry tools are all that you need. Robert also has a Faux Bone instructional video from CCP Videos. A great companion to the book.

Beyond my expectations!
After anxiously awaiting this book's publication, I haven't been able to stop saying "WOW" as I thumb my way through it. Robert is a terrific, inspiring teacher, (as well as all around nice guy!) and having this book is like having notes and images from the class. The first half of the book lays the ground work for the techniques and materials covered in the book. The second half contain the projects - each one more intriguing than the last! As a book jumkie, I often get a book, devour it and set it aside. With Robert's book, I can't wait to get started trying some of the new materials (concrete and Faux Bone) and projects!

Decades of knowledge packed into one fabulous book
This is a fabulous book for anyone looking for guidance in creating wearable art. Not only does Dancik clearly articulate how to work with non-traditional materials, but his careful and thorough written and illustrated instruction gently guides readers through each process. Lots of good information combined with lots of eye candy for inspiration. The projects are fabulous. I plan to bring this book along when I teach as a resource for my students. It's that good.
