My girlfriend told me that she would deny knowing me if I wore an ascot. So, I ordered the red spot silk printed ascot. I wore it to a holiday party -- she had no idea that I was wearing the ascot. At the party, I removed my coat, my girlfriend and the other party goers saw the ascot at the same time. The host of the party smiled and asked me where I bought the ascot (he wanted one). The hostess told me that I looked "swanky". My girlfriend gave me a big smile and a larger kiss. Many of the party goers wanted to know where I bought the ascot. Of course, I told them that I bought it on Amazon.com. I just ordered a yellow spotted one.

I think the stigma of being uptight, pretentious or otherwise overly into yourself that comes with wearing an ascot is undue. I bought this because I never see people wear them outside of magazines and TV and I wanted another dimension to add to my wardrobe. One of these babies dramatically changes even the look of a button down and blazer with jeans! It's a nice little splash of color where there might otherwise be a plain old t-shirt hem exposed. The silk is butter-soft and very comfy on the neck.I wore this particular print with a white shirt and a black and white glen plaid blazer and people couldn't stop remarking on how good it looked and how rare a look it was! However, it did leave traces of red on the inside of my collar. Nothing a wash or a bluing won't cure - i'm sure.If you're a person who is comfortable in his own skin and you have the sartorial cojones to step outside of your normal bounds, this will be a great addition to your wardrobe in...

The product came in a timely fashion and the quality of the product is great! Before the purchase, I would have like to have known the type of ascot I was purchasing. The way that this ascot ties is different from the ones that I've seen on youtube but I eventually figured it out. A few more pictures of the ascot in its full length would have been very helpful.
