For the price of a soda I got a gem of a book
I love how to books that come to a point instead of a lot of blah blah blah. It was short but very informative. Worth the price of the book.I'm doing what Zoro says in his book and using hay bales in my garden.There is a mention of a home baler that he uses for specialty bales. Plans for such balers are prevalent on different websites. I might check into his link for printable plans. But for now, I buy my own bales. Right now I will be making pyramid stacking flower bales and giving it a try. I liked the book or I would get a refund.

Great book!
I found this book really interesting and full of great ideas and information. My dad grew potatoes for years using a layer of horse manure on the ground and then a layer of hay (loose hay, but it worked great because our farm was pretty sheltered by trees on 3 sides), so I know the methods described in the book really work. I love seeing the techniques of our ancestors becoming "fashionable" again. Excellent!
