Very good conditioner
A friend of mine told me about this product and I am so happy she did. Bone Marrow conditioner is great! I really feel a difference, after a deep condition, with this product. My hair is completely natural and I have a 4C type texture, but this conditioner makes my hair feel like a 3C after application, i.e. really soft. I will order again soon.

entertaining historical mystery
Set in Elizabethan England, author Kathy Emerson has chosen an interesting historical period for her mystery series and an intriguing heroine in Susanna, Lady Appleton -- a proto-feminist educated by her father and grudgingly admired by her more conventional husband. Emerson introduces a great deal of information about the times, the people and the herbs without making it painful, and the book is readable for that alone. The heroine and other characters are believable and three-dimensional and the murder and its solution are reasonably well-done -- better than many historical mysteries. I look forward to reading others in the series.

Entertaining historical
I'm no expert on Elizabethan England, but this book seemed well researched, almost to a fault. It did tend towards exposition in spots, but I can forgive that for the sake of learning some history. The juxtaposition of headstrong, educated Lady Appleton in this vivid setting made for a highly entertaining read.Some of the foreshadowing was a bit blatant, and I thought the villain was pretty obvious. (Hint: In Chapter 4, pay attention to what is so carefully *not* revealed about the murderer.) But I had a great time following along, and the ending had some unexpected little twists. I look forward to more of Susanna's adventures.

Great Fun
This is an immensely readable, enjoyable book. The characters are great, the story kept my interest, and the historical background is accurate and is inserted into the story in engaging ways. I have been reading a lot of historical mysteries this summer, and this is an excellent one! Good summer reading!

Another way is to roast the marrow, remove from the bone and let it cool again so it hardens up. Roll the chilled marrow in some flour and shallow fry in a pan until browned and crisp on the outside and the marrow melts on the inside. However my favourite way of enjoying bone marrow is the simplest, roasted and spread onto some toasted bread with sprinkling of sea salt and served with a sharp parsley, shallot salad to cut through the creaminess of the marrow. I’ve made marrow butter by blending bone marrow with butter and parsley. Marrow bones can also be used to make stock and cooked marrow can be whisked into soups, risotto or sauces to enrich them and add a depth of flavour. Though these days we’ve all become more trained to buy our meat pre-packaged, and are missing out on treats like bone marrow. There’s a reason bone marrow is popping up on restaurant menus all over the place. Bone marrow has a slight nuttiness, unctuous, creamy and subtly sweet, the taste is incredible. As I bit into the toast the rich, decadent, wobbly marrow on top oozed a little , leaving a faint smear of fat on my lips. Of course if you’re concerned that there is no more to marrow than just fat. After about 15 minutes the marrow should be slightly bubbling and have come away from edges a little.
