Spring Break : A Classic
A movie that is unfairly lumped into the early 80's genre of "college spring break hijinks" movies, Spring Break is the one that stands apart. The movie contains a veritable cornucopia of hysterical lines and exchanges, as well as (unlike most of its followers) characters you can really associate with and come to care about even. The original Spring Break Movie....
This was the movie that started a long list of bad copycat movies about guys and girls on the loose on spring break. The acting was good, if somewhat amateurish. The one bright spot for guys that are looking for gorgeous women in movies of this type, is the appearance of Corinne Alphen (who later married Ken Wahl of 'Wiseguy' fame), as the lead singer of the all girl band. She has never failed to be overwhelmingly stunning, simply by walking across the set.
