Great hitch
I recently purchased a Curt hitch for my 2010 Prius to use with a bike rack. I needed to know how much set-back to expect between the hitch pin and the back of the car. The Curt Technical Support line was able to readily supply this information. The installation was as easy as advertised (appx 15 minutes). I was afraid that it may hang down a lot and look out of place, but was pleasantly surprised to see it fit very well.

Easy to Install
Great product! Ordered on Monday with free super-saver shipping - delivered Tuesday afternoon! Took about 20 minutes to install with the help of my 8 year old son. You need to push and hold the exhaust pipe towards the passenger side in order to access the bolts - very simple installation!

Good tool
I bought this for removing trailer hitch balls from trailer hitch ball mounts. Install the ball mount in your vehicles hitch receiver (works great as a vice) and then remove the ball nut with this tool. I found that this tool also worked perfectly for tightening the nuts on my Woods brand disc harrow, so I bought another one of this tool...one to put on the head of the disc harrow bolts and one for the nut side. Works great! So much better than using the short 12" adjustable wrench I was using before. This tool is longer and easier to use.

Awesome
I was pretty causious when I pulled the rack out of the box. Thinking that having to do some assembly it might be a bit flimsy. My wife and I took it on a 1700 mile road trip with all types of road surfaces and took quite a beating. The rack held up GREAT and was still sturdy when we returned home. We definitely got a bang for our buck. Only recommend that if you use with 1 1/4" receiver adapter, mount trailer light or more reflective tape. It sticks out quite a bit. We will definitely be using it on future road trips.

CURT Cargo Carrier # 18130
The product itself is a heavy duty cargo carrier and made well. The only complaint I have is that I ordered a new unit but it look like some else had already open the carton, the plastic parts bags holding the parts such as flat washers, lock washers and 3/8-16 Cge bolts with some missing, plus the packing was not very good, dents and paint scrathed off. It was a Christmas present for someone else, not very good when they think you buy used gifts.

Heavy Duty
This is one heavy duty setup. It will accomodate standard or short drum winches. It even has an angled skid plate on the bottom to keep you from digging the square tubing into the ground. The only improvement I would make is to do away with the one-size fits-all holes for the fairlead. There need to be four holes instead of one. The fairlead could potentially move if put in a tight enough side bind. I plan to weld up the excess. Everything else a perfect fit. I also like that you have three holes to choose from in the square tubing so you can mount close or further out. I'd buy another.

Perfect fit
I used this winch mount plate for an electric winch on the front of my Ford pickup which has a front drawbar mount. It is durable and strong. The thickness of the metal plate is impressive. I can pull a pin and remove the expensive winch to protect it from being stolen.

Fits perfect!
Having a 2" receiver on a hitch is way better than the smaller size since there are a ton more options you can get for the 2". This fit perfectly on my 2011 Kia Sorento. I have an AWD 4 cylinder, so I do NOT have the pre-wired connector for the wiring harness. Apparently this is there ONLY for 6 cylinder models. A side note and no bearing on the Curt hitch itself, but something to point out since if you are purchasing this hitch for a 4 cylinder, you need to get the more expensive wiring harness that requires you to run a 12v lead back to the battery. It came with the separate wiring kit that you can also get from Amazon manufactured by Curt.Installation required dropping the muffler down and cutting the thin heat shield between the muffler and frame rails. Each was relatively easy. Provided instructions were easy to follow as well as my double checking by googling others experience doing the same installation just to be sure. Nice and functional
Received the hitch yesterday and installed it today. Just follow the instructions provided and it will be ok. Actually installation was easier than i expected. It took me 50 min to install on 2011 Kia sorento EX. Hitch looks great and it's solid. Installed my Thule hitch bike carrier and tried on the road, it's perfect. Quality of the hitch is good, good welds, nice finish. Very happy.

Installed Beautifully...Only 1 (very) Small Complaint...
I ordered this from Amazon, and it was here extremely quickly, within 2 days, and the shipping was free. There are hitches on Amazon that are $50+ more and may be a little easier to install, but are ugly and not as secure. This hitch is all hidden except the receiver area, and is attached with 6 bolts whereas the others use only 4 small bolts. My installation was very smooth, never even put a jack under the vehicle. I would recommend using a little dish soap on the exhaust hangers to slide them off as they are a little tight. (Just a hint, Curt has a youtube video showing the installation of this hitch) It took me about 45 minutes, but that was only due to me trying to take a shortcut and not completely trim the heatshield. Hint: Trim the heatshield! Once I did it went in flawlessly, all of the holes lined up, and there was absolutely no drilling required. You will need a couple of extensions for your torque wrench to do the final torque, but no big deal. Some people on here stated...
