Best Punk Cd ever
In my opinion, this is the best Dogwood album yet. I've heard all four of them and they're all awesome, but this one rocks. It is one of those cd's where you can listen to the whole cd and you don't have to flip around to find your favorite songs. The lyrics are also awesome, unlike some other christian bands, Dogwood's lyrics are always about Christ, and very encouraging. This cd is a great buy.

i'm going to come right out and say it. i just can't get sick of this cd! i've been listening to it for almost 2 years now, and excluding about two months when i lost it, i haven't gone two days without hearing it all the way through at least once! the words, the music, the guitar riffs, everything is awesome. there isn't one song on the whole cd i skip over. here's a quick review of the individual songs:1.Suffer-great beat, one of their longer songs. 9 out of 102.Rest Assured-one of the short ones, but still good. wish they had made it a full-length. 8 out of 103.Feel the Burn-awesome song. great drum work on this one, with creative guitar melody. shows the talent of dogwood. 10 out of 104.Never Die-best song on the cd, second of all time dogwood songs behind the early stairway to hell. one of the better songs with a message. 10 out of 105.Out of the Picture-the least of the songs. good, but not up to their standards. unimaginative, boasting simply a loud guitar. 6 out...

heart wrenching character driven tale
It has been twelve years since Will Hatfield was sentenced to Clarkeston Federal prison, but he is about to be released in two months. Beautifully Written
I picked up Dogwood yesterday, and pretty much didn't (couldn't) put it down until I finished this afternoon.Fabry's writing had me from the first page. I love his wit - not too in-your-face; just enough to keep me smiling throughout. His use of metaphor is flawless. His character development was rich. His theological content was deep without being preachy. And His twists caught me at the end.Honestly, it isn't the type of book I typically read. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it cover-to-cover. There was a depth, a sweetness, and (for lack of a better term) a melancholy that drew me in and wouldn't let go. Fabulous book!

Dogwood Truly Powerful
It is sad that anyone would read Dogwood by Chris Fabry and refer to it as a Christian novel and that therefore they found it hard to read. Individuals with that reaction are very much the same people that the story talks about, the members of the Christian church that rejects the returning convict without knowing the whole story or members of a community who do not want foreign elements coming back like a cancer, ignoring the cancers right before their very eyes. If that is an indictment of the readers, I must apologize because Will Hatfield, Chris Fabry's protagonist, does not recent the anger he encounters, but rather understands and empathizes with it, while at the same time refusing to accept it. This novel, unlike so many previous "Christian novels" deals with the real world in real world terms that some might find offensive. I did not. Quite the contrary. I found Fabrey's way of handling the realities of life honest and at times lyric, which is what makes it something...

DOGWOOD: The Dogwood species range anywhere from groundcover, multi branched shrub or tree, or a single trunk ornamental tree form. Dogwood trees are considered by many as the best all-round flowering trees. Dogwoods are most known for their outstanding display of flowers in the spring.

Cornus kousa, also known as Kousa dogwood, Japanese dogwood, or Chinese dogwood, is a small, handsome specimen tree or shrub. This handsome little tree adds year-round beauty, for white flowers in May and June give a Milky Way effect, while purple and scarlet fall leaves add intense color. The beautiful tree form has horizontal branching. It is planted as a specimen, near a patio, or in groupings. The Kousa is not as susceptible to disease as the white dogwood in spring. Blooms later and with a softer-petaled flower than the white flowering dogwood. Because of its disease resistance, it is becoming the best replacement for the white dogwood. Kousa Dogwood has low water requirements and displays a moderate tolerance for salt and alkali soils. Partial shade to full sun. Grows to 15' to 25', 25' spread. Hardy in zones 5-8. In groupings plant 10-15' apart.

BEST CD
This CD amazed me from the first time I listened to it. I haven't ever heard anything quite like this CD ever before. I love the lyrics, the intstrumentals, the way the album fits together, and the length.I swear, this CD never gets old. This is one of those CDs that once you listen to it once, you listen to it again, and before you know it you've lost track of how many times you've listened to it, and you're thinking, "Didn't I hear that song a few times already? Yeah I did, and it's great!" I've had this CD for 3 months and it is already my favorite CD and the only one that I never get sick of ever.Why is this CD so addictive? It's not too hard to figure out once you listen to it once, but I'll tell you anyways just in case you've never heard of Dogwood before. Quality Punk Rawk
This is quality Punk Rawk from a good band. I base a lot of my reviews after I have listened for a while. I have had this c.d. for a while and it is still strongly a good c.d.It has ver catchy hooks and a much better guitar sound than last time. Dogwood focused on making good music on this album, excaping their roots of punk rock. Great tracks from begining to end, with the ocasional break down.An excelent album.

This comprehensive book is a must for anyone considering raising or breeding dogwoods. Indeed, anyone setting aside the money and space for a dogwood tree should first look at this book, or perhaps one other: The only source I know of that comes close is the "Manual of Woody Landscape Plants" by Michael A. Dirr. Naturally, this book, which looks only at dogwoods, includes some cultivars not covered by Dirr, and has about 2 or 3 times as much text as Dirr does for each cultivar.The sort of info covered? Very high quality photography and high quality writing and organization. I don't believe there's a competitive book on the subject and it's unlikely that an author will be motivated to exceed the quality of this book. I am not an expert on dogwoods, and this book has encouraged me to grow more dogwood species.
