Can't Live Without This Product
I was diagnosed with Celiac late in life and so have major damage to my small intestines. Before I found Essential Enzymes my body wasn't able to break down and absorb the nutrients in my food very well. But from the first day I used this product I could tell the difference. I usually take 2-3 pills before eating, depending on how hard the food item is to digest. If I forget, my intestines let me know. This product is the best. And through Amazon, it's very affordable. It passed the oatmeal test
It beat another enzyme product in an oatmeal test that I read about in a document assembled by Jon Barron. The oatmeal test is simple: prepare some oatmeal, and place equal amounts (I had about half a cup of oatmeal in each bowl) into two separate bowls. Dump equal amounts of the enzyme supplements you are testing into the bowls (one bowl per supplement). Stir it up, then let it sit for a few minutes. The enzyme supplement which produces oatmeal with a runnier consistency is likely the superior product (don't try and eat the oatmeal with enzymes--I don't think it will taste good). When I performed this test with this product and an NSI enzyme product, this product made the oatmeal much runnier. It was cool to see the enzymes in action. What is also nice about this product is that it packs more enzyme potential per capsule than the other product, which means this product last longer because it requires a smaller serving size. Life Saver
I began taking this product due to having digestive issues that the doctor could not do anything about. If I ate anything with too much fat in it I would get sick and most of the time when I ate I would feel ill afterward. I began using this product based on the reviews and it works great. Advanced Enzyme System
I've had a terrible problem with acid reflux in the past. I was eating Tums for dinner. Then I discovered the power of enzymes to almost totally alleviate the problem. When I take 2 enzyme capsules daily I don't have the problem unless I eat way too much acid-forming salsa or drink too much acidic bottled tea or soda. When my favorite brand of enzymes disappeared from the internet I turned to Advanced Enzyme System due to the wide variety of enzymes and other ingredients like turmeric at an economical price per capsule. I found that the product does the job for me as I am still heartburn-free as long as I have been taking it. Best Digestive Enzymes I've ever used
I can eat Garlic again. I love garlic, but it does not love me. I used to have trouble with my stomach digesting protein, fat or garlic, but not anymore. I used amazon to re-order more Rainbow Enzymes b/c they had a good price. I'm no longer bloated and can eat more of the foods that I could not before. Rainbow Light digestive enzymes
Rainbow Light is one of the best enzyme products I have tried, they seem to be true to their claim of what the product actually contains in each capsule. I've paid much more for others that were not as consistent and effective as the Rainbow Light. On my second bottle and ordering more...
I'm a vegetarian so needless to say, I'm gassy. LOL This was the only product I've found to help with my digestion, alleviate my gas AND helps keep my tummy from bloating. By the end of my first bottle, I hardly farted at all anymore. (Sorry if I offend you but I want to be honest so others can be helped by this product.) And my stomach wasn't upset after eating. I wanted to make sure it was this product that was working so I didn't start my second bottle right away, and sure enough, my gas and bloating did return. It didn't return immediately, but it did return. So I'm now on my second bottle and am ordering more so I don't run out. Truly incredible supplement
I bought this supplement because it was recommended to me in and I'm glad I listened to the advice.You wouldn't think you'd notice a simple digestive enzyme type supplement working, but you actually do notice a difference. I prefer not to get too personal, but lets just say one of the things I noticed was that my bowel movements were regular to the point of them being like my body's alarm clock twice a day and always at about the same time.I'm very happy with this and it'll last you a long time. The answer for digestive issues
We were encouraged to use these by our doctor to deal with intestinal damage caused by gluten allergy. The damage was so severe that little food was being digested. Following a course of taking these at every meal for a month no more undigested food was passing through the the patient's digestive track and the patient was feeling better with much more energy. So far so good
I have all types of gastrointestinal problems stemming from gall bladder disease. Honestly I know that I should have my gallbladder removed but I'd rather not if I can help it. I've been able to manage by limiting the amount of fat I consume, eating more slowly and always allowing 4 hours after eating before lying down. Unfortunately over the past few months my schedule has prevented me from taking these precautions and I was in serious pain. Not full on gallbladder attacks but bloating, gas, indigestion and heartburn. My cousin told me about these pills and after 3 days I could tell the difference. I take two before lunch and dinner and the effect is obvious. Before Essential enzymes I was in some kind of discomfort everyday and now I feel back to normal.I wouldn't advise anyone to delay seeing their doctor and I'm not foolish enough to believe that these pills have cured my gall bladder disease but they're really helping me cope a little longer. I am not going to tell you how great those are, because I am not taking them. I can eat contractor grade leather shoe and digest it happily in the next 6 hours MOL. It was purchased for my fiancée. She has problems with breaking down food since she was 16 years old. It is one of those cases where type of food and hormonal picture at particular day of the month (you know what I mean) can cause her to get pain, not be able to process nutrients and short of milk of magnesia or whatever is an emergency treatment, she could end up in a hospital. We did some research, and wanted to try this. Guess what - it works. No, it is not Drano for your stomach. When I use this, my gastric reflux is much, much improved
My husband has always had digestive issues, and I developed reflux in my late thirties. Because of this, I started buying enzymes some years ago. When I take these consistently (ie, with all meals, but especially the heavier ones like supper), I find my gastric reflux stays controlled. This is a great product for acid reflux problems. Doctor prescriptions and over the counter antacids really don't work. The problem was too little acid production, and this product helps produce adequate hydrochloric acid for proper digestion. It works very quickly taken after meals.
