Amazing value
The price seemed too low for a quality sword, as others were approximately 4 times as much, but I ordered it based upon the picture and it is a magnificent looking sword. My son wanted a sword for Christmas based upon the King Arthur legend, and I searched the Internet thoroughly finding that many of them were much higher priced than this one. Nevertheless, I ordered it and I am so happy I did. You could not find a better quality or better looking sword even if you pay four times as much. The gold finish is beautiful, the blade is beautifully engraved, the sword has a very sturdy feel, and it looks totally authentic except the blade is not sharpened -- which is what we wanted. I sought out this website just to let others know about its value, as I found that when you submit an Amazon review on a seller it does not also place the review on the individual product purchased -- it would be much more helpful if it did.

Excalibur Sword Rating
The Excalibur Sword was very nice and high quality. The only bad thing was that the wall mounting plaque was very small, not leaving much room for a brass plate when you give it as a gift. Other than that it is excellent quality and looks very classy.

Medieval Sword
Sword looks awesome! very heavy and cool. Blade is strong but not sharp..for collector purposes. handle and point where blade connects to hilt is very shaky but can be fixed quickly. Overall sword and scabbard are very realistic and cool looking.

This is the Excalibur sword inspired by the legend of Arthur and his enchanted sword. The blade of the sword is stainless steel unsharpened. More fragile than it looks; best used as display.
I bought this and another sword for a film I was shooting. It wasn't used for sword play, but the character who wore it had to take it out of his belt and place it on a table about 30 times (during rehearsal and for multiple takes), and it was transported with the tripods and C-stands instead of with the more delicate furnishings and props. The leather covering on the grip came loose by the end of the first day and had to be glued back to the handle, and the handle is now very loosely attached to the blade, which is why I cannot give the item 5 stars. It is, however, a handsome and wholly believable weapon to look at, and it is being sold on Amazon at a bargain price. I know, because I checked all the usual medieval-faire-vendors' sites first. I got the use I wanted from it, and will be happy henceforth to hang it on my wall.

Almost 5/5...
I bought this as a present, and I am very happy with it. The only problem with it, was that it was very difficult to take it out of its sheath, and when we finally got it out, there was sticky goo all over it. And after using some goo-be-gone product, the graphic on the blade came off.

Just OK - nothing special
I just received this sword and frankly I am not supper excited about it. The weight is fine and the detail is fair considering the low end price.I am very disappointed in the quality of assembly. The sword rattles when held and moved back and forth. I found the Pommel was loose and would turn 1/8 of a turn or more.The Blade color and finish is very dull, with absolutely nothing special about it. It is of course not edged but that is as advertised. The point would not pierce hot butter.In defense of the blade color and finish, I guess being stuck in a rock for a long time would harm the appearance... :)Overall, for DISPLAY ONLY, it is an "ok" addition to my collection - but no way will I be taking on any black knights or angry dragons - for I would surely die!

Beautiful Sword
The sword arrived in excellent condition, the detailing was simply superb. The blade is a nice, balanced weight (Not perfect, but just a few inches above).Its clearly a show piece, as the blade itself features no edge. This doesn't detract from its overall value, considering a combat ready sword useually has a value of over $200.In itself, I recommend this piece to anyone looking for a nice collecters piece to put up on their wall.

Made in China
Sword is mass produced and made in China. It looks OK as long as you don't inspect it too closely. In other words, put it high above the fireplace mantle. But it is heavy and shiny. The blade is not sharpened and I don't think it can be even if you wanted to.
