Main reason to buy these points through Amazon, no tax.
This is a lot better than doing it through your xbox. For one, no tax. The other reason, for me at least, is that if you put your credit card into xbox live, you cant remove it. You can change it, but it will always have a credit card on file. Buying these points through xbox live would have cost me $54.12. I would rather save that $4.12, thank you.

Buy the points card- Don't give Microsoft your credit card!
First off, I'm an otherwise very happy Xbox Live Gold member. Instead of buying a points card from a retailer, I made the mistake of buying the points online from Microsoft through the Xbox. I used my gamer tag account and entered my credit card on the TV and I bought 500 points. I got the email confirmation that I bought the points. I then used the points. So far so good. Over the next two days, four other Xbox charges totaling $30 mysteriously appeared on my credit card. Someone bought more points and a game subscription using my credit card info. I called Xbox Live support- their answer was "we don't give refunds." I explained that it's not a REFUND if my account is used fradulently. They still said no. Note that clearly the security leak was with them, as no other fraudulent charges appeared on my credit card...just Xbox charges. I then asked them to delete my credit card info from my Xbox Live account. They said they could not do this. I...

Finaaly, a fast and easy way.
I've lived overseas in Europe for the past 8 years working with the military. The thing about Xbox live is that they dont accept APO address's for the credit card (Armed Forces Overseas address). Now i can order the code in 5 seconds instead of having to buy a card and have it shipped to me. Thankyou sooooo much Amazon.

The ONLY way to win at the Lying Game is to not play at all.
I watched the marathon on ABC Family and this was the gist of the entire experience. There's very little mention of the actual Lying Game mercifully because it sounds like Cruel Intentions type of demonstrations of teen cruelty. But what IS interesting is that the childlike face of the lead actress playing both twins does NOT lend credence to there actually being a good poorer twin. In fact, her ability to see the bright side in her new more comfortable situation may simply mean she is more adept at duplicitousness than her openly aggressive twin who may have learned from childhood disappointments that her adoptive parents are less innocent than their public demeanors. There MUST be a reason Helen Slater is channeling Lindsay Wagner's unfortunate beige makeup instead of Mrs. Billy Moses' much cuter flintiness and focus. We'll see.

Kinect from a hardcore gamers' perspective (though self-professed)
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it helps you get off the fence on this great item. Being an owner of roughly every console since the Atari 2600 (yes I'm in my late 30's) I could not help but give my review of this system and a couple of games we picked up along with the Kinect system. I remember standing at a best buy for hours before buying the WII on launch day. It was a fresh concept with a new direction and revolutionary in what it did and how it did it. We enjoyed it but with the lack of strong first person titles it got old. But because it was revolutionary it endured and was a smash success despite it's lack of many quality games (yes it had great experiences) but not deep gameplay (though Twighlight Princess was a great game and showed the potential of the system) Here we are about 4 years later and with only minor exceptions the WII has found success by catering to children and the casual crowd along with providing some excellant fitness type concepts...

Brilliant!
This is mostly a duplicate review from my Xbox360+Kinect Bundle review... I only found out about Kinect a couple of weeks ago. After reading some of the preliminary reviews, I was intrigued enough that I pre-ordered it almost immediately. Since first finding out about it, I have read as many reviews as I have had time to read. Unfortunately, the more I read the more leery I got about my pre-order. Most of the reviews complained about lag, or the space requirement, or that the games were nothing more than regurgitated Wii games, and how every game title ever developed wasn't re-developed for Kinect on launch day. WTF? Setting up Kinect was a breeze. Plug and play. A few setup items and you're ready to go. We moved the coffee table out of the way and moved the couch back a couple of feet to get the 6-8 foot distance recommeded in the documentation. But I don't think you need that much space, honestly. For some of the games, we were as close...

4.5 stars - very pleased so far
First off, I have a hard and fast rule - never buy first generation equipment, especially from Microsoft, and especially when it's brand new technology. However, rules are made to be broken, right? :) My boyfriend's birthday is today, and he really wanted the Kinect for his birthday - it was a sign that it was released the day before his birthday, right? :) So, like a good girlfriend (and fellow gadget addict), I ordered it from Amazon for him and it was waiting for us yesterday when we got home from work. Props to Amazon for flawless release date delivery! He had it set up before I got home and reported that the setup was very simple. What took the most time was re-configuring the furniture and figuring out the best place to put the sensor. We have the 360S, so the device was plug and play. We tried the Kinect Sports and Your Shape games, we also have the Adventures game that came with, and I plan on getting the Dance Central game as well...

Better than BC2
I actually like this expansion pack better than the original game and find it difficult to go back to the regular BC2 game any more. Why? Because the weapon hit detection is much better in the expansion, much more like BF2 or 2142, plus different weapons that are fun to play with. More than anything though, with the maps, the hit detection being correct, and the additional weapons, it's just more fun to play than regular BC2. Oh, and no annoying Gustov spamming. There are RPGs, but they're so slow and have so little splash damage they're hardly ever used on infantry which is a welcome change from Gustov and noob tube spamming. Lastly, the Huey's fly well, not at all like the ones in regular BC2 that handle like boats...and did I mention flame throwers? :)

Tough, worthwhile expansion to Bad Company 2
I have Bad Company 2 on Steam. When I purchased the Vietnam expansion on Amazon, I simply entered the code in the Bad Company 2 main menu and Vietnam was activated without any problems. All of the content for Vietnam was apparently in the last huge patch for Bad Company 2. Vietnam is multiplayer only so those looking for a single player game have been warned. Overall, Vietnam has a different feel from BC2. The maps are huge and open, each of them are unique. There are five multiplayer maps total and all of them take place outdoors. The jungle experience and scenery is captured perfectly in this expansion. I found myself getting shot by Vietcong in rice paddies and facing intense close combat fights on jungle paths. The downside to the openness of the maps is that you will have to deal with a lot of snipers, more so than in BC2. There are about four unique weapons for each class and the perks attained in BC2 (magnum ammo, extended mags, vehicle upgrades) are...

Somewhat disappointed
Unlike some other reviewers I like the original maps in BFBC2 better. In most of the Vietnam maps sniping seems like much more of a problem than in the original maps, even though the weapon gadgets, like scopes, were apparently cut back to try to reduce it. It may also be that the hacks are all on the new maps with their aimbots. So be prepared to die a lot, even if you're no longer a noob on the original maps.

Fun game! Maybe not for kids
Game installed with no problem on my Motorola Xoom. It was fun and worked well. I tried it out on "Easy" and "Animals" and I thought it was a little tough. "Krill" and "Ibis" are probably not words that my 7 and 5 year old kids will get. I think I read that you can enter your own words so we might try that. Still pretty fun!

Other options could be Improvise Weapon (using her Violin as a club in an emergency), Privilege – as she gains in skill and reputation more people will know her / love her / fear her etc.
