Fantastic Product!
If I may say so, this little lawn gnome (or Pipel, as his name grew to be) complimented our garden and delighted our lives with his unmatched craftsmanship and shy smile. We certainly enjoyed his stay in our garden...while he lasted. You see, when I was driving up to my house one day I found poor Pipel was missing. I searched everywhere. The shed, the back yard... even by the hose, where he's turned up a number of times. You can only imagine how disheartened I was. In later days, I started receiving letters from an anonymous sender with nothing inside but a picture of Pipel in front of scenic views. First Pipel was in front of a historic covered bridge, then the Eiffel tower, then the Empire State Building, the Space Needle, Lady Liberty, the Taj Mahal, and lastly Big Ben. My family got a kick out of it, but we missed our cheery Pipel dearly. A few months later, the letters came to a stop and Pipel was safely returned to his garden sanctuary. durable hollow plastic
As a novelty item, this is fine except that it's hollow making it too light to stay correctly positioned. It tends to fall forward onto its head. I plan to add sand or something so it won't blow away with a strong wind. For the $$ I would liked to have been able to place it in the garden and not worry that it might end up down the street.

Cheaper at Local Stores
These are great gnomes but alot cheaper when purchased locally. I got an ad in the mail or newspaper that had them for less so ended up buying them from the local store. It is odd to see such a price difference for the same packaged item.They hold up really well to the weather and they are great quality. I felt for what I paid was a steal.

Rather Feminine Looking
These were purchased locally for my niece for less than half this price. I would say they are very nice--they seem well-made--but these little guys look like they just had a visit from the Avon lady. Very ruby-red pursed lips, like they applied lipstick and puckered up. On top of that, some extensive use of eyeliner. Hate to say it, but they look like women with beards. Kind of a deal-breaker.
