Getting to know "The Game"
I think a different side of HHH is put forward here. I've heard a lot of the rumors and such and never really knew what was true and what was fake (kind of like WWE these days lol). I see Hunter in a new light now, and I think I appreciate and respect his contributions to the business more. I still think he's an &%*hole for what he did to Bret Hart (directly or otherwise) but most of the crap we hear about him comes from jealous no-buddies and mid-carders who just want to be the next HHH but don't have the talent to get their on their own accord. Will Hunter replace Vince once day? Personally, I don't think so. But if he does, I think it helps that HHH is more sophisticated when it comes to the business side of things than we presently realize. He's a tough S.O.B. who knows how to get what he wants, so I guess that's good for the WWE if he takes over. Regardless of what happens, I enjoyed reading this book and I think any WWE fan would, just for the insight behind the scenes if not...

Thought Provoking Look Behind WWE
This was an incredible read. It's the third WWE wrestler related book I've read from this author and it's the best one so far, primarily because it tells a story no one has told so far - how Triple H got into Vince McMahon's "inner circle" as the author describes it. I have always retained mixed feels about Triple H marrying into the McMahon family and I've quested The Game's sincerity, too. This amazing work delves into all of it and really shook up some of my preconceived notions. This is my candidate for wrestling-related book of the year!

The Game is the man and this tells you why
I don't care if you love Triple H or hate the man. He's probably the best in the business at what he does and not just as an in-ring performer. This is the story that's never been told and I'm glad it's finally coming to light. I actually like Triple H and have more respect for WWE and the McMahon family after having read this. Same goes for the other WWE-related eBooks by this particular writer, who's really good at summarizing big stories into compact packages for readers with short attention spans like me!

Those who have worked with and for the multi-time WWE Champion say Paul Levesque – or “Triple H” as he’s known to the WWE Universe – is the smartest and most cunning mind in the history of professional wrestling.
Always one step ahead of his friends and two steps ahead of his enemies, Paul Levesque has long aspired to be more than just one of the greatest in-ring performers of his generation. “The Game,” as he’s universally recognized, wanted to become a larger than life titan of the industry he dominated as a performer for two decades.
While never publicly claiming such, it was clear that Levesque wanted to be the next Vince McMahon. But as a businessman widely considered to be keener and more shrewd than Hulk Hogan, Eric Bishoff, and Ted Turner, Levesque would not dare under any circumstances to compete against McMahon’s revered WWE – nor would he jump ship during the company’s mid-1990’s slump against Turner’s WCW.
Still, Levesque, some assert, knew he wanted to one day take over the WWE as soon as signed his first development contract with the lone superpower of professional wrestling. All it would take to make it happen was an artful strategy – one that would be concealed from public view thanks to WWE executives and fans concentrating their attention on Levesque’s undeniable star power and unparalleled professional wrestling prowess.
