Quiet, strong and cheap, best warranty. Get it.
I bought this to replace 20 year old ISE disposer which lost both of its blades and was pretty much useless.Installation was almost plug-and-play except for the sink flange piece. I had to remove old one (couple of minutes), clean some old plumber's putty and make sure contact surface is clean before I put the new one on. Since I have stainless steel sink, the supplied rubber gasket was just fine to use alone. The outlet orientation and dishwasher inlet were in exact same spot as the previous disposer so I didn't have to mock around with that - perfect compatibility.Last was electrical hook up. The disposer comes with around 2-3 feet of cable with standard 3 prong plug on one end... I had to cut it off and make electrical connection to old cable. Manual covers that and tells exactly which prong should be hooked up to which color of wire on the other cable. Similarly to plumber's putty, there were no wire caps included with the disposer.At this point...

Impressive product and customer support
Like several of the other reviewers, I purchased this to replace a Badger 5. I found the Waste King product impressive on a number of areas. The warranty is five years and it includes in-home service, which is a rarity nowadays. Some of the larger Waste King models (1 Hp) have a lifetime in-home warranty. I looked at them, but decided to go with the ½ HP version since I only use the disposal for plate scrapings (bones go in the trash and vegetable peelings go into the compost pile) and didn't want to buy way more disposal than I needed.Waste King offers two mounting options - the traditional three bolt method, and the EZ method. This model is the EZ method and, true to its name, is really easy! Very clear instructions come with the unit, plus there are videos on the Waste King site to walk you through the process. works great so far and was pretty easy to install
Like the other reviewer I replaced an older one with this. The trick is that older garbage disposals tend to have something called a three-point attachment just under the sink, while newer ones like this have a new design that rotates on. Now if you want to replace the current part that's in the sink this doesn't matter. But then you need the plumber's putty like the other reviewer said (unless it's a stainless steel sink, whose smooth surface apparently doesn't leak).On the other hand you can do what I did and buy an adapter. This mounted under the sink, allowing me to keep the part you see in the sink when you look down, and thereby obviating the need for applying plumber's putty. It cost about $15 at Orchard Supply, but I'm sure you can get one from Amazon. It bolted to the sink part easily, and the Waste King rotated onto the adapter equally easily.The only problem was that the adapter lowered the garbage disposal itself half an inch or so. Works great!
Bought this on ebay because it was a couple bucks cheaper there but can't write a review on it there. Installed on my friend's dv7-1157cl which was a huge pain because it is the last thing you can get to when taking it apart (let's just say there were some screws left over....). Anyway, the fan works great and has made it so his computer doesn't shut down after 2 or 3 minutes now. His fan and heatsink were full of dust and it was awful. To get the manual on how to take your laptop apart, just go to support.hp.com and look up your model and it has a full parts list with the part number and how to install it. Anyway, great product and would highly recommend!

Call Bostitch CS to sink 1 3/16" pins
Yes , there is a problem with driving 1 3/16" pins but Bostitch will send you an easy fix, a new driver/piston. I am surprised that no one called them and posted this . I always contact the manufacturer with any issues first, some are very helpful and others are not. Great CS from them, as I always have had from them, and an other wise very well made compact driver now will work just fine. As far as using 2"pins, they are too long for this gauge in real wood[18 ga.2"brads is even pushing it] ;they bend easily and can "blowout" of the wood[follow the grain] when using to be really useful anyway but the 1 3/16" is perfect for shoe base mld. for flooring installs and no filler is really needed. 1" pin guns limits the usefulness as other brands have as their longest length. 4 stars for the tool as is, and add 1 star for Bostitch being there to fix their problem making the gun excellent now.

Doesn't countersink pins
Just returned mine and ordered a Grex 635 instead. I fired about 40 pins in hard and soft wood, tried various compressor pressure settings, and various settings of the so-called "depth control." The gun jammed once. If the air pressure is at the low end of the recommended range (70-100 lbs.), or if the so-called "depth control" is set low, pins will usually be proud of the surface. With the proper adjustments the best you can do is get them to be flush, which is unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. According to Bostitch Customer Service, this pin nailer is not designed to countersink pins, but rather to leave them flush with the service. The "depth control" is a misleading name for what is really just another way of adjusting air pressure. It does NOT change the travel distance of the pin.

patience young impulse shopper
shot up many a clip of pins over the past week on a kitchen with cherry cabinets and trim. guns of this ilk are absolutely invaluable in delicate/intricate hardwood production work, from temporary jigging to glue up clamping to achieving the perfect miter. but this gun drove me up the wall and forced the guy coming behind me with the markers and putty to take his artistry to a new level. almost every pin stood proud, long grain shots and end grain. if it wasn't proud there was the slightest dent from the gun nose and the pin was still didn't countersink. when trimming in standard fjp this gun is a godsend, but for hardwood work you had better invest in a microscopic nailset(alien technology, coming soon) if bostitch hasn't decided to include one in the case already...to follow up, this pinner is but a continuing let down. production installation of hardwood is the name, having the pin hold the pieces is but half the game. the many, the proud. i have a quick learning curve, now...

Good price but not as much ink as other cartridges
I bought a new HP printer to replace one that I had for over 4 years. The quality of the printer is exceptional for the price. I was curious, though, why the ink cartridges for this new printer were about half the cost of the ones for the old model, so it seemed like a really good deal. Unfortunately, the fact of the matter is that the new ink cartridges for this model last about half as long as the others. I agree with a lot of the recent press about the need for ink manufacturers to label their products with the quantity of ink rather than the number of pages they can print. It is impossible to compare prices and know for sure how much you are getting for your dollar. Nevertheless, I still recommend this printer. HP is a great company.

HP #60 Ink
I'd been saving the dual package in my wish list while I was checking around for the best price.Well today I found it at wal-mart for $30.97 and in the package you get 2 black and 2 tri color packs. Can't beat the deal. Amazon wants that much for just one black and 1 tri color. It pays to research and shop around. So glad I didn't order it here, but I still find great values on other merchandise here. I love the printer, but the ink sure doesn't last very long. Cheap printer that I ordered from amazon (and I like the printer), but expensive when you print as much as I do. Just wanted to pass the info for those that might need the #60 ink.

200 pages indeed!
We just replaced our printer after 7 years. We had an HP printer before, and purchased another one because we loved the first one. The new printer (C47950 takes these tiny HP 60 cartridges. I thought for sure I was doing something wrong when I ran through the first cartridge. When I took them out, I compared and they ARE smaller than the previous cartridges we bought for the old printer. When I went to shop around for new cartridges, I saw the statement that it will print about 200 pages per cartridge. They aren't kidding! We home school, so 200 pages of printed materials for two students is NOTHING. We are blowing through these left and right and I am disappointed. Had I known before, I would have purchased a different printer all together. I print everything in draft quality since my kiddos will literally see it once, color it or answer the questions and be done with it, and still, I counted 198 pages last time. Excellent service, second time around
I got this product in record time, for which I am truly grateful. The ink is performing as expected. No time yet to judge on the number of prints I will get from it.I would like to comment on a similar cartridge that I ordered from THE FINE PRINT, advertised in Amazon. It took FIVE WEEKS to get it delivered, and when I installed the cartridge into the printer I immediately got the "low ink" signal. Sure enough, I could only print about 25 pages out of it. The seller would not return my calls or e-mails, and although I wrote a review, it was never posted on the sellers page. I also sent a complaint to Amazon, to no avail. At this moment I feel ripped off.

OEM vs remanufactured
There seems to be several misunderstandings about ink replacements.1. OEM from the manufacturer2. Remanufactured from a ink distributorThe inks are basically the same, where do you think the OEM company gets the ink? In order to charge more to cover overhead and profits the OEM companies develop things like chips to "read' the ink. When you buy a remanufactured ink product they will not have the chip and "CAN" read empty misleading people into thinking the cartridges are partially empty and they got a bad deal. In reality they just dont have the chip so the computer misreads the info. It is simple to go into the printer software and turn off the chip reading service and everything will work fine except the ink level readings. They arent really accurate anyway. If getting an inaccurate reading of how much ink you have left is that important to you then you will need to buy the expensive OEM ink for that feature.
