Be VERY careful with size!

Great beginner gi
This gi is made well and is great for beginners. It is double seamed so it won't rip and has a full inset gusset for mobility. It is thick enough so it is long lasting, but not so thick as to be heavy.For those that didn't give it full stars - if you pick the wrong size...of course you have to pay to ship it back...and nowadays to even send something priority FRB costs over $6-7...so you are paying regular shipping!The review is supposed to be on the item...not on personal errors...Anyway - thought this gi was great

Very nice uniform
I purchased one of these for my grandson when he started his Little Ninja karate lessons. He outgrew that one, and so we needed a second one. Both uniforms were good quality, and the little guy loves wearing them. When it's time for another, I know I can purchase it with confidence.

Good lightweight uniform
This is a good quality lightweight uniform. It allows you to work up a good sweat and is light enough for sparring and good form work. It has a snap that you usually do not get with a lightweight gi such as this. Its not a power snap that you get from a traditional heavyweight gi, but I was surprised at the result. This is a good entry level uniform for somebody who is starting out in karate training.

Sized Small but Good for Beginner Karate Student
This companies Student Weight Gi/uniform runs small compared to other karate uniform sizes. Where I would normally recommend a size 3 to my students, with this company I recommend a size 4 provided they get the poly/cotton blend because that won't shrink as much after washing and drying.

Very nice and a great fit.

Very Happy
Love my new lightweight gi. It lays well on the body, washes well, is easy to iron and even came with a free white belt. Would highly advise to anyone looking for a non-bulky martial arts uniform.

awkward smell
everything in my order arrived fine but when i opened the package i was hit with a smell, the GI jacket had a terrible smell of vinegar, not so much on the pants (probably from being packaged together) after i washed the gi everything was fine.

Beware size
A stupid mistake on my part, but I didn't really think about size.When I got it, it was WAY too small for me.Be aware that this is a CHILDREN'S gi(hence the "1" on the title)I just wish the seller was more clear on that instead of just sticking a "1" in thereNothing wrong with the product, though, besides a slight musty smell.FINAL RATING: 4/5

Stiff as a board!!!
I just started taking aikido lessons at school. The gi is optional but i had to have one. I've never had one before and just went off the sizing chart. It came super fast like 2 days fast! I was so excited I tore it from the packaging and tried it on right there. It was stiffer than the package it came in and I thought oh great I picked the cheap burlap sack one. so I washed it anyways and it's sooo soft and comfortable now! my only complaint is the waistband is kinda tight and not as flexible and comfortable as I think it should be.

Nice gi
I ordered this uniform as a second gi for my son to wear to karate class. The first one was purchased as part of a package when he started. This uniform is very light weight, and the fabric gets softer with each wash. His other uniform is still very stiff and uncomfortable. The price can't be beat, either. I would have paid much more if I had purchased one through the karate school. Great product!

Very good
The quality of the uniform is very good. The elastic waistband in the pants are a little tighter than I'd prefer (thick too, ~1.5", which seems unnecessary), but overall, great product. Another note, I personally get very hot when working out, and this gi material is tightly woven. It was like an oven inside! That's probably just me though.
