EVEN COOLER THAN I IMAGINED!
These El Wires are so f***ing cool, they are very bright and have a great color. I ordered two a week ago and I am ordering two more today. The only slightly negative thing, which really doesn't matter enough to be 4 stars, is yes there is a high pitched whine/ringing sound but its not bad at all. Sure if you are in a room alone you can barely hear it, but if you are at a concert (what I intended to use mine for) it doesn't matter whatsoever. So don't be discouraged, this things are amazing!

AWESOME!
I heard about electroluminescent wire from a friend. I studied up on it and found this one on amazon. It was cheap so I went for it. EL wire is awesome and so is this product. although the soldering job wasn't so good it still works. Using it for accent light on my DJ amp (Which is garbage) and it looks cool. Looking forward to getting a pink one in the future. Would be nice if the came in longer lengths.

this is really a great sign for a business, its decent looking
i would let people know that this led sign is really genuine item at its price. much better-compare to other signs at the price of fortune. it is really sharp and very easy to use and light weight. need to use long good extension cord to make it work from a long side of window but it depends how tall the window is. thanks to this led technology company (NEON) for making this open sign products comfortable and sale at affordable price for business.

More than i expected

great little sign
When the box arrived, I was sure that I hadn't ordered the right item or they shipped the wrong thing. When I opened the box, sure enough, there it was the beautiful little neon sign I had ordered. The base contains all the electronics that controls the light, and just plug the light into the top and it works. I was expecting the old style of neon light, the 4 pound ballast hanging off the back and a pull chain. This is not that, it's way better, lighter, and the signs are interchangeable with other ones that they sell. So if "live nudes" is too "adult" for some of your visitors then order "bar open" or something to display while the nieces are over. The other thing... I had seen the other lights for sale and they didn't quite read "live nudes", more like "liven nudes" like a crossword puzzle would read. I purchased this one because you can tell that it is 2 different words, and the adjustment knob that makes it flash is a neat addition to this newer, lighter style of neon...

Not meant to mount on wall
The light works fine. It has a large base that is meant for setting on a flat surface. I can't imagine anyone mounting it on a wall as it would stick out too far and look odd (as if the sign doesn't look odd enough). I would rather have someone laugh at the sign than the mounting...
