Just as expected
I ordered these cables on Amazon after pricing them all over the web. They arrived in just over four days, well in advance of the estimated delivery date. The cables are Samsung OEM stock, exactly as advertised. Data transfer and charging works just fine on my Samsung Vibrant.From one of the posted reviews I knew the cable would be considerably shorter than the cable that came with my cell phone, and it is. I measured it at 30" which is actually quite shorter than you might think. Consider where you will be charging your phone from, or where you'll need to place your phone in relation to your computer or DC plug in your car and make sure 30" is enough. But for $1.29, you can't beat it.One very positive note. The cable was priced at $1.29, with shipping stated to be $3.98. I bought four cables but was not charged $3.98 shipping for each cable. Plays nicely with Kindle Fire
Bought this to connect my newly purchased Kindle Fire to my Mac so that I could finally get around to transferring some non-Amazon content to the Kindle. The Kindle Fire, it should be noted, came only with an AC adapter and not the required USB-->Micro USB cord that is required for USB file transfers.For a fraction of what most other USB-->Micro USB cords cost (including the Amazon Basics version), I have had no problems transferring content onto my Fire. The cord charges the Kindle as well.Long story short: Do not pay more than a few bucks for this cord if you are looking to connect your Kindle to a computer, as any USB-->Micro USB cord (especially this one) should work just fine.

better length, does data and charging w/ Focus
I wanted to have a second sync and charging cable at my office so I don't have to carry one around. This cable is packed with a Samsung label so it's not a no-name product.It's half as long as the cable that came with my phone. That's great. The original one is too big to carry around and there is less clutter on my desktop from excess wire.It's less stiff than the original -- again, better for transporting.It does both sync and charging for my Samsung Focus Windows Phone 7.The price was fair and I like all of its qualities.

Plastic Welder worked great for me.
I bought this plastic welder to try to repair the bumper cover on my mercedes e55. my bumper was torn about 18" running horizontally across the bottom of the bumper and my fog light housing was cracked from top to bottom. my bumper was in bad shape. the body shop wanted $600 to repair and repaint the bumper and wouldn't guarantee their repair and bondo. they wanted to rivot a piece of sheetmetal or hard plastic to the rip and use filler to smooth it out. i actually didnt have to use any kind of filler, i melted extra plastic and shaved the excess down.... the mercedes dealer wanted $1200 for a new bumper cover and then painting it was extra... i decided to take a chance and repair it myself. i watched the dvd and scanned the book real quick and got to work. i had my dremel tool ready, shaved and cleaned the edges as per instructions. i used strips of that stainless steel mesh and the long plastic melting rods, melted it into the plastic and sanded the excess plastic off to blend into...

Having been an autobody tech for 48+yrs.,I have tried several other plastic welders in our shop with some success.The mini-weld comes with case/filler rods for each type of plastic being repaired/instructional DVD/temperature control for each plastic.Even our youngest apprentice has had 100% success with this welder. Good product-great price,very happy with this welder.Also bought one for my home use saving me 100's of dollars on repairing a holding tank on my motorhome rather than replace.I highly recommend this welder!

Disappointed that it only outputs 700ma -- not good for heavy use or fast charging
Considering Samsung's own website states that it had "quick charging technology", I expected at least an output of 950ma like the other more popular Motorola car charger.I like to stream Pandora through my phone's Bluetooth and occasionally use the GPS as well, so I'd like to have a charger that can handle that as well as top off my battery. Unfortunately, this product doesn't fit that bill. At 700ma, its certainly enough if you just want to occasionally charge your phone, but definitely not for heavy usage.I'd get the cheaper, sexier and more powerful to boot Motorola charger on Amazon. Theres absolutely no reason to get this charger over that one unless you absolutely have to have Samsung written on your charger.
