Room for me and my dog
I bought this kayak two years ago at the end of the season.They only had one color lime green but I loved the large cockpit. I have an eighty pound dog who loves to be out on the water. I take her with me regularly. We are both comfortable in it. I admit that it handles better without her weight in the bow but I love to have her there. When I am alone in it I can really stretch out, carry camera equipment and it does handle better without her. It is very stable, easy to get in and out and fits easily inside my CRV with the back tied down. I can load it my self and carry it to the water. I am 76 years old and kayak almost every day in the warmer months. From New Hampshire

Great recreational/fishing kayak.
This is just a really nice kayak. Comes from the factory with things like a drain plug, thigh pads, carrying handles and can holders. It's really easy to get into and out of and for a few bucks you can rig it with pole holders and bungees and you're ready to go. Easy for one person to handle for loading and unloading and is super stable in the water. It tracks well and sits high in the water. I liked my first one so much I'm in the process of buying a second one for my wife.

This kayak is great. It tracks well, is very stable, and seems faster than other kayaks I've used. It is also short enough to throw in the back of my truck so I don't have to bother with a roof rack. Get a long paddle.

Old Town Dirigo 106
This kayak is awesome! Has everything I need and is extremely comfortable all around. I am only 5'1" so I figured there would be some sort of an adjustment for my shortness - but it was a perfect fit instantly. I am a novice kayaker so I was afraid of spending alot of money on something I was not familiar with - but this kayak is all it is cracked up to be and more. Very stable and tracks straight, easy to get in and out of and has plenty of hatches and bungees for storage.

The kayak was delivered earlier than suggested delivery date, and that in itself was a pleasant surprise. It is easy to carry and store. The kayak performed nicely on Silver River. It was easy to maneuver and did not leak. We could transport it easily in the back of our truck which has a six and one-half foot bed.

This is the 3rd Old Town Dirigo 106 kayak we have purchased. It is just a great recreational kayak for the price. Seat is comfortable and the adjustments are easy to make. The water tight compartment is roomy and the cup holders work well. The kayak glides easily in the water and not too heavy to lift and carry. As an Amazon Prime member, shipping was free, very prompt, and the kayak arrived in perfect condition. Enjoy!

Great versitile small boat
We had two of these. Sold them to get bigger boats, which we love and use on the Chesapeake Bay and other large waters, but now are planning on buying two more frenzies for our vacation house in Va ( [....] )so we won't have to lug boats back and forth. The paddling there is rivers (the Maury and James Rivers are right near by) and ponds and the Frenzy is perfect for that. Enough room to bring a small cooler and a dry bag with a towel and a few other items but small enough to handle really well in tight spaces and white water (we've done 1's and 2's with great fun). We really like that they are so great for swimming, just hop off and swim, climb back on when done. My wife needs to be in water she can stand in, like knee deep to get back on, I have no problem getting back on in any conditions, just depends on your athletic ability and confidence. Most people in good shape can remount in water over their head as the boats are quite stable. That's another good...

Great Kayak!
Perception Sport does not have a website, so for me, I couldn't find enough information before I decided to buy this kayak from Sportsman's Warehouse. Previously, I had a Dagger Cypress and loved how it tracked and handled on slow rivers and on calmer oceans. We wanted kayaks that would be great on flat water lakes as well as moving water. I was initially worried about the length being shorter as far as tracking, cargo capacity, etc, but I was sure wrong. My fiancé and I love this kayak! It handles small waves nicely, is easy to maneuver, is pretty stable for being so narrow and tracks well. The weight is definitely manageable for one person, and easy with two. Cargo space seems okay--we figured we could fit enough gear between the two of us for an overnight camping trip if we budgeted weight well. We have only taken them out a couple times on a large lake (calm one day, and wavy the next), and as soon as we take them on faster water, I will update this review. Recommended!

Simple, elegant solution; works perfectly with Yakima round bars
I found this to be a brilliantly-designed product, very simple and elegant and not bulky (i.e., easy to store.) It's easy to attach and remove (at least from the Yakima round bars.) My only problem was how to get up close on the roof of our Ford Escape to align the front/rear stackers and tighten the (large, comfortable) wingnuts, especially in the back. I finally thought to stand on a rear wheel, and that solved the problem. I guess you could use a stool or stepladder too.We've used one of these stackers to carry two 15' kayaks on a Ford Escape for 700 miles on the interstate doing 70 mph, without bow or stern lines. Nothing BUDGED (the Yakima Heavy Duty Straps are very good, BTW), but we'll start using bow & stern lines in the future. As long as you can put one strap in front of the widest part of your kayak and one behind it, it's a very stable platform. Making the stacker rigid against the bars strikes me as more of a way to keep a healthy car roof when attaching /...
