An every day palette for smokey eye lovers
I practically use this palette every day. I don't use a brush for applying these colors because they are very soft and become loose and just a bit messy, especially the highlight shades (top left shade #1 & bottom right shade #5)/high shimmer shades: which are top row shade #2, #3, & #5; bottom row #3 & #4.I bought a pack of sponge tip eyeshadow applicators just for this palette. Although the darker colors aren't as dark when applied, you will still achieve a VERY nice smokey look. I HIGHLY recommend an eye primer for maximum benefit and staying power! I use my fav, Too Faced eye primer. I would recommend this very nice, all in one smokey eye palette. I would have easily rated this 5 stars if the dark colors were more pigmented, but nevertheless, I'm happy with this palette for the price! Good purchase.

Not Bad
I really like this pallet. The combo of colors is perfect for making a smokey eye. My only complaint is that the matte colors (the darker ones) aren't as pigmented as i would have liked (someone else mentioned that also i think), but i have just been using primer and a few coats and it lasts all day. I would definitely buy again.

If you loved "Where the wild things are", you will love Suzy Lee's "Shadow". The illustrations are full of energy, it captured the imagination of child's play. It is a must read!

Nice, really nice
This delightful, creative storybook is basically wordless. The endpapers are black; and with a simple "click" a young girl pulls the light on in a garage. On the left side of the page are the contents of the garage, and on the right, their shadows. As the story progresses, the girl creates shadow puppets with her hands, and other items. The`shadow page' begins to reflect her imaginary characters, and are shaded in yellow. As her imaginary scene becomes more involved, the shadow page becomes more yellow, and the garage items, opposite, disappear, until there is a barrage of black imaginary characters, where a story within a story unfolds until someone hollers, "DINNER'S READY!" Girl and reader are brought back to reality, where the items in the garage are tumbled around. She clicks off the light, the pages go black, and slowly, yellow shading and the characters she imagined reappear....

So Cute!
I bought this book and Suzy Lee's other book, Wave, for my 4 year-old niece. It was a hit. She kept flipping through both books over and over. She would walk away, and then come back to slip through them again. Which is exactly how I felt when I flipped through them. Even though it is a picture book, it really sparks the imagination. This will be one of my new favorite go-to gifts for children. And I really think it would be appropriate for any age. One that can be passed down for generations.

Soft neutrals, great color payoff, good staying power, nice container
I like this eye shadow palette because the colors are great for everyday wear. Some of the shades have a bit of shimmer while others are more matte.The only downside of this particular shadow palette is that I kept it in my purse and from normal day-to-day purse abuse the shadows all cracked and broke into pieces. Obviously this is my own fault, but I wanted others to know about this! Treat this one gently and you'll love it! :)

Great neutral colors
Great mirror, great colors, what more could you ask for? I use the black for an eyeliner and it works great. I like that some are shimmery and some are matte. They go on smoothly and the color selection is great for everyday or a smokey night time look. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great Buy! Great Eyeshadows!!!!
I Love Love LOVE this eyeshadow palette!...this is my very first palette so I can not compare with other high end brands, but I can say that the colors are very pigmented, they last, and they get the job done! I was in search of a palette that I could afford and that would satisfy my want for a 120 palette..all the other ones I saw were $30+ because of shipping and all, but ordering off of amazon gave me free shipping which is always a plus! In my opinion this palette is for beginners, advanced, or just anyone who wants to change up their look a bit. I would totally recommend this product! Plus buying from the seller 'Bundle Monster' was fabulous, they shipped way before I expected and it was from Hawaii! It came wrapped in a whole bunch of bubble wrap with a "handle with care" package. Nothing was broken. I am so happy! so you should Buy it too!

Bought it as a give for my girl friend
Bought this for my girl friend. She likes it a lot especially doing all these crazy eye effects. I had heard that this author was incredible, so I decided to make 'Shadow' a read aloud bedtime book for my seven year old. The story is gripping. It challenged her. It is heartwarming, compelling and the first book that has made her cry!We have poured over maps of Afghanistan, tracking the route that Aman took. We have looked at photos of David Beckham. We have discussed language, factions in different countries, Muslims, torture... All good bedtime reading topics! Actually Michael Morpurgo keeps it quite light and there is plenty of humour. The characters are wonderful and highly believable.A classy five star read which I enjoyed as much as she did.
