Timeless
Even with the technology of recent animated films, Space Jam still holds it ground as one of the best. It combines great animation with the classic humor of Looney Tunes. This film is great for basketball lovers of all ages because it includes humor for both kids and adults. This film is also a must have for any Michael Jordan Fan. An all-around awesome film. The dual-disk is entertaining, especially if you enjoy looney tunes cartoons which are included in the special features. The behind the scenes and commentary are interesting and informing. Good if you are interested in animation or film making. The special features includes two music videos: Seal's "Fly like and Eagle" and The Monstar's Theme by a selection of rappers from the era. It does not include R. Kelly's video for "I Believe I can Fly."

Slam Dunk
Space Jam teams up His Airness, Michael Jordan, with His Hareness, Bugs Bunny, for a fun, and funny, family film.Michael Jordan has retired from basketball, and currently playing baseball, when Bugs Bunny and his Looney Tunes pals ask for his help in playing a b-ball game against diminuative aliens from Moron Mountain. These aliens have stolen the talent of 5 NBA players, including Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing, and are now larger than life. Since this is Looney Tunes Land, this game is NOT your average basketball game. If it was, it wouldn't be any fun.Though not an actor of any kind in anyone's book, Michael Jordan does a very good job of interacting with his cartoon co-stars. Most of the jokes are well done and the basketball game itself is a lot of fun. In addition, it is quite funny to watch the 5 NBA players that had their "games" stolen trying to cope with their newfound ordinaryness. This movie is not groundbreaking by any means and most all of the original Looney...

A Review of the Two-Disc DVD
The new "Space Jam" 2-Disc DVD is a fun addition to any Looney Tunes or family DVD collection. Disc One features the film, which can be enjoyed with commentary from the director, as well as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Most DVD commentaries are a bore to sit through--and this one does have its over technical moments (especially if you have young children who "believe in" Bugs or Daffy), but the comments from the characters are very witty--including a jab that Bugs throws at Michael Jordan early in the presentation (concerning his brief baseball career).Rounding out the first disc is the theatrical trailer of the film (this is almost a MUST with me for any DVD).The Second Disc is a nice bonus and could have easily been packaged as a stand-alone item. It features a "Making of Space Jam" and several Looney Tunes shorts (from the 1980's and 1990's), as well as the 1988 television special, "Bugs vs. Daffy: Battle of the Music Video Stars". Speaking of music videos, the second...

Although at first glance it looks like a movie dreamed up by a marketing committee (and in some respects it probably was), Space Jam actually defies the odds against it to become a dazzling display of family entertainment. There's a kind of demented genius to the idea of casting NBA superstar Michael Jordan in a live-action and animated movie costarring the beloved characters from Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes cartoons. They play off each other like seasoned veterans of vaudeville, and Jordan never falls into the kind of awkward, amateurish showmanship that you might expect from a sports idol. He's comfortable in the cartoon land of his costars, who include Bugs Bunny and sexy newcomer Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Sylvester & Tweety, Speedy Gonzalez, the Tazmanian Devil, Foghorn Leghorn, and Yosemite Sam. They've all been hijacked to an outer-space amusement park run by the Nerdlucks, who strike a Faustian bargain with the Looney heroes: if Bugs and Co. can defeat the Nerdluck "Monstars" in a basketball game, they'll win back their freedom; if they lose, they'll be doomed to stay there forever as enslaved entertainers. So they kidnap Jordan as their coach and "secret weapon" while the nefarious Nerdlucks suck out the basketball skills from such stellar victims as Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing. It all leads to reckless abandon on the basketball court, and Bill Murray pops in for some hilarious support. Combining traditional animation and computer-generated Nerdlucks with its live-action cast, Space Jam was made in the anarchic spirit of the Looney Tunes cartoons, where anything goes as long as it's funny and off-the-wall (or the ceiling, or the door, or the floor...). Technically astounding, it's also witty enough to entertain adults and kids alike. --Jeff Shannon Top to learn more

BUY Space Jam Michael Jordan Sylvester w/ Sky Stilts & Plunger Stuffer

Buy Space Jam Jordans

The story begins in 1985, using the original Nike Air Jordan 1, Michael Jordan’s red-and-black, high-top basketball shoe whose color scheme earned them an NBA ban for violating the league’s uniform policy regulating colors. The NBA levied a fine against Jordan – who played on nonetheless- and a sneaker craze was born, with new, Roman-numeral-designated versions on the Air Jordan (AJ) shoe following just about every year. These SpaceJam Jordans are amazing and for all those who purchase Authentic Air Jordans For Sale these are a have to have. Jordan 6 and Jordan 6 Retro. I recall Air Jordans being the must-have sneaker inside the 1990s, but what is going on with all the Space Jams now. Also when you get New Jordans you improved Obtain These Authentic Jordans. In 1996, Michael Jordan appeared inside the film “Space Jam” alongside Bugs Bunny along with a cadre of animated Looney Tunes. Adding towards the desirability was the reality that what came to be generally known as the Space Jam color-way did not exist outside with the film set, given that only a handful of size 13s were created for the individual use of His Airness for...

In March, TSG came across some interesting retail price information regarding two specific Jordan Holiday 2012 releases: Air Jordan 4 Retro Black/Cement Grey-Fire Red and Air Jordan 11 Retro Black/Varsity Red-White. Air Jordan 4 Retro Black/Cement Grey-Fire Red JB HAS BEEN DONE IN MY BOOK…THE MARK UPS N MARK DOWNS IN QUALITY IS GETTING WAY TOO MUCH…THE SHOE GAME IN GENERAL NO PUN INTENDED HAS BEEN SO WATERED DOWN THE PAST 3 YRS…I’VE BEEN REAL PICKY ABOUT WHAT... If you recall, Jordan Brand blessed Jordan heads with the Space Jam 11s in 2009, and retail was $175. The Air Jordan 4 (November launch) is set to retail for $180 and the Air Jordan 11 (December launch) is priced at $200. It was brought to my attention that price points would increase for the aforementioned Air Jordan 4 & Air Jordan 11. Not buying into any of there junk no more period I’d rather buy a used pair off somebody for the same price shoot my friend copped some ’99 bred 4′s with toe box creasing, missing Nike Air letters for $85 and they’re still wearable made them CDP... Foams went up to $220 still sold out, jordan 4′s up to $160 still sold out and we could go on and on. The problem is people keep buying the product and in all honesty its not gonna stop. We’ve seen all of our favorite brands bump up the price tags, with the most noticeable increases coming from Nike and Jordan Brand. The following year Brand Jordan re-released the Cool Grey 11s, and the price was $175. I have personally slowed way down on Jordans i even had a chance to copp the low top 11s at a local sneaker shop today and the cheap look was an easy pass. Now I know why Jordan wasn’t more hands on with the Bobcats.
