Highly recommended
This is a nice book for quick & simple spells. Sometimes you are looking for something to quickly help an particular aspect of your life, and this book is full of ways to achieve your desire. I was already familiar with some of the spells, and there are many which are 'new.' Includes areas devoted to love, health, pets, wealth, and happiness. That about covers the bases! An added plus: it is also very attractive. It's printed to look like an old spell book which has been passed down through a family, and it succeeds.

FABULOUS BOOK!
Hello all! :o) I just purchased this little book on New Years Day. For starters I love the cover and the old feel and look it has to it. I also love the simplicity of Gillian Kemp spell writing. I have been dabbling and reading spell books since I was 16 (24 now) and this has got to be one of the best. I must admit when I first became interested in using spells I was ignorant to how they work so the books I brought and spells I used never worked because I didn't understand what I was doing. Not that it is a hard thing to do. The most significant thing in doing spell work is to stay focused on what u want from the spell at the time your doing it, put all your energy into and most importantly believe that it WILL work! I tried my first spell "To get a Lover to Call" on January 2nd. About 30 mins after I did the spell he called! I was so shocked! LOL And the spell is so so simple. I was going to type it on here but I think its only fair if you go and purchase the book. Worst case...

A MUST BUY!!!!!
I don't even know how to describe this book, because it gives me the chills, in a good way though. I only started casting spells recently. I am a beginner too. So far I have done 2 spells from the book and they both worked!!! I am not even a Wiccan and honestly before buying this book I never believed in any of this until I saw the reviews and bought the book. The spells are pretty easy to follow and the ingredients are easy to find too. I highly recommend it!!!!!

This book is a wonderful
I am a keen practitioner of witchcraft and I thought this book to be well written, very easy to read and understand and very good for both beginners and the more experienced practitioner. I have purchased a couple of other publications in recent months of a similar nature and this is by far the best. Highly recommend to anyone keen on learning about witchcraft or developing their existing knowledge, method, spells and skills. It is not simply a few spells that you can find online it's much more, very insightful with explanations and history behind witchcraft. I have learnt some new keep safe prayers. This book is a wonderful.

An unpolished writer with some excellent information to share.
I am a 20+ year Pagan and a writer and writing instructor, and although the grammatical errors and youthful syntax in this book made me wince at times, I thoroughly enjoyed the breezy conversational style and common sense spell knowledge this author shares with us. Their sense of ethics is solid and their basic information sound. In other words, though the book needs a little polish and sophistication, it is still worth reading, and I am looking forward to more mature works from this author.

Um . . . this is NOT the only Wiccan spell book you'll ever need.While it's extensive in knowledge and theory and is actually rather good, it wouldn't hurt to check out other spell books and read up on other seasoned witches' and wizrads' theories.Even with that said, I love this book.It's always a great reference for White Magick, Crystal Magick, and Astroligical charts. In a while I'll have worn the cover with opening it constantly to my favorite pages. It's also very good for the fast-paced witch to have -- you can slip it in your pocket or purse while you're out shopping for supplies or what-not and open it as a reference. (Don't attempt this if you're wearing a trench coat and sun glasses, the bail isn't worth it).Also, if you're a beginner in Magick, this is a book I highly recogmend. Great for beginers: I'm a beginer.
I really like this book. I begun reading last week and I'm really interested in the topic. I think this is a great book for anyone wanting to know about white magic and how it works. It provides information about (I think) everything your need to know before making any spell:C1. The philosophy and Ideology of Wiccan Spellcrafting.C2. Belief, Intent, and the Magickal world around us.C3. Creating Sacred Space.C4. The witch`s Kit: Tools and Symbolism.C5. Spellcraft Fundamentals.C6. Types of Magick.All this before you get to the second part where there are the spells. This is not a bible... is not super-extended about each topic, but delivers enough information for you to understand what you are doing.I`ve just finished the first part last night. FUN!
This is a fun book, easy and interesting. Wicca IS NOT a form of devil worship as many people tend to believe. I have several books of this nature passed down through several generations (over 30 generations to be exact) and this book is not complicated at all. Give a spell or two a try and the power of it working is all up to you and if you believe. You will be amazed and it is great for beginners or if you are like me & just want to read something new. This book gives you the importance of ones will and does not force you to do things against your beliefs. This book is worth reading. It has a spell or two in it that I was brought up never to cast for myself or on someone because it falls under personal gain and to bend ones will. But to each their own and I recomend this book.
