Quick review of the Epic 4g Touch
- Updated 10/19/11 -This is by far the best phone I have ever used. My previous phone is a EVO 4g so luckily i got renewed after a year.This is my own personal review based on experiences with my EVO 4g, my friends's ip4 and this Epic 4g touch.By far, Epic 4g touch wins by a mile.Initial impressions:1. Its light as hell!!!!! it feels like you're holding a toy or a dummy phone (this may be good or bad depending on the user, it's really good for me)2. The size is good enough for me but then again it depends on how big your hands are.3. The colors are very very VERY vibrant, it really stands out from all angles.4. Got this phone on the 16th. Here are a few things that I like and dislike:likes:1. speed2. screen3. build (feels like a toy? are you kidding me?) this phone is so light in weight but don't confuse that as a poor build quality. Absolutely blown away by this phone!
I got this phone the day it was released via overnight shipping and have been using it ever since (about a week now)- I have been utterly impressed with the device! IPhone clone --- Awesome CellPhone!
From a distant sight, it looks just like an iPhone especially if you go with the white cover. The performance and function is amazing. I have had several phones, including iPhone 4, epic and HTC Pro etc. but this is a better device hands down. The screen is crisp, the colors are sharp and it is quick. Compare it to a tablet. I have iPad 2 as well, which I don't use that more expect for Netflix and some hardcore tablet Apps.However, for some the screen size (4.6") might be too big as at times it is inconvenient scrolling through the screen with one hand. The screen span is too big for thumb to navigate and touch all corners. For this reason, I liked the Samsung epic at 4.2" screen size. Where can I start? This is interesting phone. Literally a mini speedy tablet. This is my first android device so this came off a bit complex just trying to navigate. Great Phones
This phone is great. The speed of the phone is super fast even with many apps installed and it blows the new evo out of the water completely. The screen is absolutely beautiful I use Netflix on this phone and shows and movies look great, far better than any other phone I have had from Sprint.Cons- this phone does freeze occasionally on Netflix if hours of shows are played repetitively, but so far no other problems.

Good Features Crap Phone
So after owning this phone for about 2 months the keyboard just up and quit on me. So I had to use the screen to type out message which was fine but the keyboard was a selling point of the phone. The Operating System tends to have lots of lag and after owning it for about 6 months there we so many glitches on this phone It was nearly unusable. The features on it are neat which is the only reason why it got a 3 star rating but without them it would have taken an easy 1. I do not recommend this phone though because you can get better ones for less

Amazing phone & amazing seller.
The phone is amazing if you want something that has both touchscreen and keyboard with a smooth interface. It's not completely a smartphone since the platform that it runs (WebOS by HP) is not a smartphone company. However, you can download tons of free apps & it's as fast as any other smart phone out there. It's like the underdog of the competition. So don't slack on it.I ordered the phone through one-day shipping so it got here fast and came in a legit sprint phone box that looks fresh out of a sprint store. Everything that Sprint would give you with the phone, was included in this package. The phone also didn't cost that much either. With over-night shipping included, it only came to $60. For this phone and this shipping quality, that's a bargain.

I am a long time Sprint customer. I have insurance on my phone, the insurance deductable for the Palm pixi is $100. I found this phone on Amazon for less than $50. I received it one week later and I was able to activate it online through my online Sprint account. It is a good phone and up until now has not presented any problems. The phone is very small and not really designed for people with larger fingers/hands. The keys are very small and can be hard to see. My Samsung phone Android experience was slightly different than my HTC Android phone experience. HTC is definitely better, more stable, browsing is better, battery life is worse but the overall quality and the sturdiness of the phone in question is penultimate. EVO 3D vs EVO 4G: Flagship Faceoff
Off the bat, the EVO 3D has been getting a lot of mixed reviews. When switching between 3G and 4G coverage, the HTC EVO 4G may experience a very brief interruption of data service as the device switches network connections. During this brief interruption, applications attempting to access data may be unable to do so and may display an error message. Below are some examples of how to proceed if an error message appears on the device. Other data-usage applications may experience a very brief interruption and will continue functioning once the network handoff is complete.

Mail application: Simply tap the Cancel button and refresh your inbox after a few seconds by tapping Menu > Refresh. Browser application: Simply wait a few seconds and attempt loading the webpage again by tapping the refresh arrows or re-entering the address. YouTube: Simply tap the OK button and attempt loading the desired video again Sprint Mobile Hotspot: The Sprint Mobile Hotspot will remain on, but there will be no internet connectivity until the device reconnects to the data network. Pandora: Pandora may briefly pause until connectivity to the data network is restored
