Comparing AppleTV to Roku2 XS
I own both the new Apple TV (1080P/2012) model and the Roku2 XS. I found myself doing a side by side comparison of the two products and here are my findings.AppleTVPros: Works out of the box, minimum effort to setup, really easy to use interface + wifi. Can Restream old purchased episodes. Netflix App much cleaner and more superb. Streaming and buffering causes no delays or degradation of picture. Works!
If you are handy with a soldering item, and are extremely frustrated with your Samsung LCD TV not working, I would recommend giving this product a try. However, before you do I strongly recommend searching for online information (YouTube, etc.) to see if your model/year has the described problem and that you can do the work yourself. Obviously, enough Samsung televisions have this problem that Hobby Mods came up with a repair kit. The capacitors are of high quality, and the kit is complete (except for the soldering iron). In my case, the OEM capacitors did not look bad, but I replaced them all anyway and reset all the ribbon cables in their respective connectors. My TV has been working since (so far 2 months). Hope this helps you!

A Must for any Samsung with Pink Dot Problems / Startup Problems
These capacitors worked very well to fix my 46" Samsung with pink dot / start up problems. I youtubed the problem, watched a couple of videos, then opened up the back of the TV and sure enough all of the capacitors with problems jumped out at me. If you have a little bit of mechanical aptitude or soldering experience you'll have no problems with this fix and this is the kit for the job! My TV was fixed nine months ago and it's still going strong with no issues.

**UPDATED**Would not consider anything other than Square Trade
****Update 04/11/12****As my initial review was written based on my experience with SquareTrade on items other than the Kindle Fire (which had not even been released at that time) I wanted to update with info relating specifically to the Fire warranty service.I have had to contact Square Trade because of an issue with one of my Kindle Fires and I mistakenly called the usual general warranty claim telephone number on the SquareTrade website. SquareTrade has a designated Kindle Fire specific warranty claim number which is listed on the warranty confirmation email customers receive after purchasing the Fire's warranty. It is 1-866-374-9939. Exactly as advertised!!
Square trade warranties are exactly as advertised. After almost two years of abuse on my 2nd Generation Kindle, I finally broke the screen. I am a Soldier and my Kindle goes with me everywhere, Iraq and Afghanistan included. I called Amazon (from Afghanistan!) and was directed to the Kindle warranty department. In less than 5 minutes, I had a new kindle on the way to my house, and a shipping label to return my broken one at no charge. I was very impressed at how easy it was. I just purchased the Kindle fire and didn't hesitate for a second to get the additional warrantly offered by Square Trade. Keep up the great work.

Accurately Described (Mostly), But Beware Customer Service
As with all warranties, make sure that you read the fine print as soon as you get it. If you don't think it's worth it, cancel it. You can cancel this warranty in the first 90 days for a full refund (provided you haven't made any claims). You can also cancel any time after that and get a pro-rated refund based on how much time is left in your coverage period. This seems generous, so I'll give them kudos.It will cover your "oopsies"... but only the main ones: like if you drop it, step on it, or drop it in the pool/bathtub/sink/toilet. So that last one probably isn't common (I hope), but you get where I'm going with the dropping-in-water concept.Since you can't see much else besides what they write on this page, I'll highlight a few points that you might want to consider. Watch out for the undertow
It clear that Mad Men have become the Sorpranos of the 21st century, and we had to wait almost as long for their return too. As with anything with this series do not take anything on face value.There is more there than you might realize. The stage has been set, the players have return, and its the turbulent Sixties. Drama will unfold. Plus we have not even seen Betty Draper yet. Another thing Alison Brie. I just snapped who she is. I love her on Community and totally forgot she was part of this cast. Seeing her back on this show should be fun as Pete is becoming the dark horse of agency.

The two-part season premiere was actually good. Unlike most recent episodes there was a sense of fun to it and far less of the by-the-numbers baby boomer historical melodrama. The chemestry between Don and his new wife was fun. The party was fun. Bringing back all the characters in this particular way was quite effective. Looking back, it may be the high point of the season. Because they have about 100 episodes of Betty suffering that they want to do. Joan is also reduced to being a martyr now. And of course we need lots, lots more of Betty's daughter.

Epic Win
Ah, The Secret Circle. Quite simply, I adore these books. I'm absolutely thrilled that they're being re-released, as my old copies are now quite creased and have started to fall apart. I finally get to replace them! Though I'll never throw the originals away, mostly because I would feel like that was sacrilege, but also because I don't like these new covers nearly as much as the old ones.Yes, these books are THAT good. I first read them as a young teenager, because my sister and I were both big fans of Smith's Vampire Diaries saga. At first we were both confused, because we thought these TSC would be about vampires, too. We quickly decided that witches were just as much fun to read about as vampires!(very minor spoilers below, beware)The heroine of this trilogy is Cassie Blake, and she is a character that every girl reading the books will both relate to and admire. AWESOME! Could not put it down!
Lucky for me I had the second book ready to go because I read the first book in 1 day. It was so good I kept reaching for it whenever I had a spare moment.Really this is a great read.I wish I had read it in the 90's when they were out and I was younger- LOL.Personally, I feel L.J. Smith's books are better than the Twiglight Series. And they were written before Twilight. Hmmmm...Maybe S.Meyer read L.J Smith when she was younger...**Make sure you have the second book ready because it is originally a trilogy. So each of the 2 Secret Circle books has 1 1/2 of the original books from the trilogy in them:o)

Secret Circle
I began reading L. J. Smith when I was twelve years old, and continued to read and reread her books as I grew older. This edition of the Secret Circle is the same as L. J. Smith's previous editions of the Secret Circle which were released in the mid to late 1990s. Out of all her books though, The Secret Circle trilogy has remained one of my favorite series by far.In the books Cassie a young girl moving to a new town is in for a surprise when she finds out her mother was raised in a small town run by the families on Cassie's street. Cassie is both welcomed into this fold as a member of the street and excluded from the fold as a half-outsider and finds herself surrounded by a mystery she feels compelled to solve. Throw in some romance, drama, and a tad bit of magical mystery and the series is pretty much explained. A great read and if you enjoy this series check out my other favorite books by L.J. Smith, which include her Dark Visions Trilogy and the Nightworld Series.

Great picture, Great value
I'm not at all as knowledgeable about this stuff as most of the people that write the reviews so this should may good for people who are clueless about this type of stuff. I had read the reviews before buying this and wasn't sure if I should spend the extra $ on Monster cables or not so I bought Monster cables and this at the same time. I was hooking up to Direct TV and a Panasonic Blu-ray to my HP 1080i HD 47" Flat LCT TV so I needed two anyway. When I switch these with the Monster I can't notice any difference in quality. A friend of mine works for Tweeter and helped me with my TV installation so I asked him about it and he said that there's very little difference and he wouldn't spend the $ to upgrade. I spent $15 on these instead $40-$50 on Monster (which would have been $200+ at the store that I bought the TV at) and got the same picture as far as I could tell.

Don't waste your money on "monster" cables or "retail" cables
These cables were shipped fast and work just great! I've compared to other "high-priced" brands and performance-wise, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL. This is what you would expect from a cable carrying a DIGITAL signal... it either gets from one end to the other, or it doesn't. Digital does not have the nuances of analog, so spending a zillion bucks on fancy cables is just a waste of money.Highly recommended!

CHEAPEST HDMI LONG CABLES?
I am NOT electronically savvy, but: I bought these 15' HDMI cables on the cheap because I couldn't see popping $80-$100 for a set. Many many online reviewers have stated that price doesn't make that much differance in HDMI cables, so I thought I'd 'waste' $5 and try them, rather than 'waste' $100 on a quality that I didn't need. Did that make any sense?These work great! My upconverter upconverts just fine, Everything looks HD to me! If you don't have the extra loot to throw at HDMI cables, buy these. You'll be happy. To quote Ned Flanders, they work just Diddly-Darn-Fine.
