This thing is big
It really is big. I had to set it up in my back yard because it was way too big to set up in my house. The whole thing is way better then I expected. You do have to buy an O-Clamp if you want to attach something to the trusses, but you still have 4 spots to attach lights on either side.

Great kit for the price!
I use this for a backdrop for portable video screens and the assembly is top-shelf for the pricing. There are limited fitment issues, but comparing this product to other $200+ options, this is by far the most bang for the buck. Easy install times and system is very rigid.

Great product for this price
Bought this for our band to help increase the quality of our onstage product. This system is very sturdy and well built. Very pleased with it considering the cost. The height is fantastic for our application. We have paired it with 8 LED par cans (4 per cross bar) which we place downstage at the corners of the stage. The 10' truss is great, but too short to use at the front of the stage without the stands blocking the stage and band members. We have decided to purchase 2 additional stand alone light stands for the truss to place upstage (behind the drummer) which we will use to rig up a couple intelligent lights and hang our banner.zenmustache.com

ADJ Truss 5' Section
Great product. it helps extend my light show truss space to hang more lights. I would not use more than one of these sections with the stock 10' section that comes with the Dura Truss kit.

The previous reviewers are out to lunch. This product is EXACTLY as pictured: it is a 5-foot long piece of trussing that connects to the existing truss that you already have if you've purchased the American DJ Dura-Truss Light Bridge System. It is of no use to anyone who doesn't have this system already. I don't know why anyone would look at a piece of truss and expect it to come with stands, etc.I have been using the ADJ Light Bridge for a couple of weeks and it is fantastic (but heavy). I'm ording this additional 5-foot section to bring the length of the system to 15 feet in width, which will cover the whole front of the stage.The basic system with stands and 10' of trussing goes for about $350. I can't believe anyone expected an entire pro-quality trussing system for $60. You do get what you pay for after all... :-)

Great deal, but note that sizing is by hips, not waist.
Tried one of the heavier $45 trusses--horrible. Hot, and two layers of thick elastic and velcro on the hips were about 1/2 inch thick--ridiculous when jeans and a belt placed over them. Elastic straps running through the crotch area were so thick that they chafed. Pad tensioning was integral to the truss, so increasing pad tension also increased waist and hip tension. The expensive truss also had pads made out of some semi-rigid foam like styrofoam--not comfortable at all.This truss is comfortable, and the pad pressure is completely separate from the truss body and easy to adjust after the truss is on. No chafing. The pads are flexible and comfortable, but are not removable. The price is certainly right. The only negative is a small opening in the crotch area. Presumably there for convenient access, it may cause pinching of delicate items in some cases, and may need to be pinned or sewn shut.I had to find another web site to get accurate sizing information. I found the actual size of this product much too small for medium.My waste size is 33 and it is impossible to comfortably fit into thisproduct. Heavy, but very nice
I have owned and eventually broken many truss stands. There are several plastic pieces holding this system together, but can all be purchaced through Pyle online for a few bucks. With proper care this system will last a long time. The two-piece truss is held together with a sleeve pipe, four wing nut bolts, and two bolts on the butt ends. Very durable! I recomend upgrading the mounts for the truss to center pole bolts to ones with a thumb screw for ease of set up. YOU WILL NOT FIND A FINER SYSTEM FOR THE MONEY!!!! Dj Nitro

Cheap - But works... Kinda
I'm not going to beat up on this system to bad because the fact is it does work. ALTHOUGH, there are some issues that I would like to point out.1. It is cheap - the plastic pieces that hold the cross beams up are fragile. Just in being shipped a few of them were broken.2. It's heavy and I imagine hard to ship - When mine arrived it was pretty beat up, no idea what it looked like when it was given to the shipping company (UPS). I had to bend a couple of the metal pieces back with pliers and some of the poles were pretty scratched and dinged up, in addition to several plastic pieces being broken.3. For what I paid for it ($150) I still think it was worth it (even with the above issues). I emailed the seller after I tried putting it up (I couldn't because of the broken pieces) and within a couple of days I had the replacement parts I needed.Bottom line: If you need a truss system for an occasional band performance or backyard party...

No better truss for the money =]
I recently bought this truss and i can simply say that it is awesome! very sturdy (2 kinta x, 1 dual gem, h1300 fogger,2 colorstrip 2 swarm)can definitely take the weight! im not too thrilled about the way the tripod gets tightened, but i guess its expected for the price. I got a part broken when it got here, prolly cuz the shipping was pretty brutal, but Ill call them and im sure it will all get straightened out =]Bottom line: If you cant spend 300 dollars on their better trusses, get this, you wont be disappointed!

Awesome Truss
Awesome Truss This truss system is heavy duty a lot better in person than the photos can produce. everything is 1 1/2" aluminum black anodized tubing very well built. The legs are adjustable.Just be careful and remember to open the legs up for stability if you go up with a lot of lights. This Item came in perfect condition. Lighting stands
For the $$$ you can't beat this set up. Yes it's thin walled and does scratch easy, but for $110 you can't expect much, just use your common sense, Don't over tighten things, Don't just toss this in the back of your truck and pile stuff on it. Treat it like it's fragile and it will last awhile, I've used it now for 2 red carpet events to hold lights and it's great. I have not used the beam yet, I just use the two stands and put 3 lights on each. Would I like it to be sturdier sure.. but that would mean $300-500 I would think, so I'll stick with this at the moment !!! I also bought the 4 sand bags for $20something and filled them up at the beach and the stands to up about 9' without any issues. at one event I even had some idiot from the insider film crew keep holding on to one stand for balance and it held up, I was ready to tell him to stop leaning on it, but the gig was over soon enough... good thing red carpet events are only an hour or so long.

Great support
I purchased this support after a busy day was ending and pain was startingfrom my hernia. As soon as I put this on I felt instant relief. I wear it all daywhile at work and remove it when relaxing at home in the evening.I purchased a Medium and feel that it is snug on my 32" waist.With one week to go before surgery I am glad that I found this item to relievemy pain and discomfort.I would not have been able to make it through a day without it.

Two octaves higher, but worth it.
I first tried another style which didn't have the under-the-leg straps. This one stays in place better, and the pads are more comfortable. Sizing was accurate for me. I'm getting ready to order a second one. I recommend.

the devil is in the details
I think the product would rate a 5 star...IF you are lucky enough to get the advertised product, in a size that fits :-)I thought the construction and materials of the OTC support was excellent (superior to the other three supports I had bought on Amazon). However, since I could get the medium to fit around my 36" hips, I returned the product (at my expense), and reordered the product in a "large".The item I received this time around was clearly not the same product (a different manufacturer). The design is similar to the OTC product; however, there were some small, but obvious differences.I wasn't happy with the substitute product (by Alex orthopedics) for the following reasons: 1. the under straps were thin and flimsy (which roll into a cord). And, because the straps are not elasticized (as expected) they tend to cut into the sensitive groin area. 2. Although not quite as significant, I thought the foam pads were a litt too soft and pliable...
