I used this sander to refinish the pine floor in our cabin followed by a Waterlox finish. It is beautiful. This sander has good weight (for doing a floor) and seems quite well built. No downward pressure is required, just hold onto it so it doesn't go off to the races. With a floor, I would look at this as the minimum sander required. A dedicated floor sander that costs thousands of dollars would be better. The realty is that because of the weight, this may be the only time I use the sander. (I still saved a lot of money by doing it myself.) I doubt many other sanders of this type would do as well. I found 120 Grit sandpaper to be the best on my application. In places I started with 80 Grit, but it just meant more work re-sanding later with the 120. I rigged a hose to my shop vac and that really helped (it has a bag). You have to unclog the channel that takes up the sawdust from time to time, mainly because there's a lot of sawdust.

Great sander
I've had this sander for several years. This is the newer version of mine. I use it mostly to strip cabinets. Makes quick work of it. It can be a little heavy for alot of vertical sanding but that weight is perfect for horizontal applications. Dust bag is decent but I like to connect it to my 2 1/2 portable vacuum. Use Shop-Vac 9068700 Universal Tool Adapter and cut off the last two rings and it slides onto the sander. I use a hose clamp to secure it and it never comes off. Belt tracking works flawlessly and changing belts is quick and easy.

terrific belt
I bought this 1/2" 4 foot long belt from another vendor. I was getting some very annoying vibrations on my Delta contractor's saw. After about 15 minutes of loose measuring and removing about 5 inches from the Power Link belt, and then installing it, my Delta has never run better or smoother. My other belt, which only had a few hours on it, is in the trash bin. The 4 foot length should probably fit most any contractor's saw that has the motor out the back of the saw, like the Delta. This Power Link belt is very easy to work with and has simple, clear instructions. You remove your old belt, measure the Power Link belt against the old one and remove links if necessary. With the contractor saws, you seem to have quite a bit of latitude on the length. Mine ended up being slightly shorter than the standard belt that it replaced. Poly Link V-Belt Works!
I purchased this for my Ridgid Band Saw which is known for it's out-of-the-box vibration problems. I'd say this cured about 95% of the vibration. I was one of the lucky ones though as the wheels on my saw came nice and balanced which is usually the other culprit. This belt is simple to adjust and feels super durable.

Works great on 2005 sequoia
I had a "Chirpy" Belt on my 2005 Toyota Sequoia and decided to replace it myself. The Gatorback belt fits great and is quiet with no chirps. If you haven't installed one before, it is a pretty easy process. It just requires a 1/2" socket drive, turn the tensioning pulley to free the belt, and then follow the diagram to route the new belt. The whole installation took about 25 minutes.
