Doors are of great quality. Each door is 12" x "36" so total width is 24" x 36". A little hard to figure that out at first by the description. It's a Sturdy Gate
I'm completely satisfied with this gate. It's easy to set up and very effective.Now, it comes entirely assembled, but it comes packed in with extensions to help it fit doors up to 41 inches wide. It'll fit a standard size door right out of the box.When you pull it out of the box, it'll seem like the door is crooked, but the instructions tell you that the door will fix itself when you mount it correctly. Look at the sides of the gate in the picture and you'll see that it has bolts on all four sides. It's not actually bolted to the wall, though. Those four bolts are clamping the gate to the wall, and as you tighten the bolts, that'll cause the crooked gate to correct itself.As for the lock on the gate, the trick is you hate to squeeze both sides of the locking mechanism and push down. This is good, because a toddler isn't going to be able to make the connection that you have to do both. But, on the negative side, you're not going to be able to slam...

Great if you don't have baseboards
While I don't have any munchkins, I do have a couple Saint Bernards, and short of agricultural grade equipment, this gate has proven to be the ultimate solution. The gate looks nice enough, has a wide opening (wide enough for two saints to try to go through, but not wide enough for them to succeed), and it can be easily widened to fit most openings. Installation is straight forward: extensions attach via plastic bits with metal rods, grippy bolts go into the gate, and you expand the gate to fit the opening. When you first start, the gate will be quite open up top, and it will tighten up after a while. You will need the included wrench (or one of your own), and you may encounter an issue: the bottom bolts are way too low! As you can see in the pictures, they're at the bottom--the land of the baseboards! Worse yet, it's so low that quarter round molding, which someone saw fit to include in my home, calls home. Nice solid gate, best if screw mounted
The Munchkin Wood and Steel Gate is nice and solid. It has sturdy steel construction, and an attractive wood gate. The plastic gate mechanism is easy to operate, and our 3 1/2 year old toddlers can open it. It's also easy to swing the gate closed behind you; it will swing back into place and latch without having to reach back and operate the mechanism. The gate is a nice width, and also comes with extensions for use in larger gaps. I've encountered one drawback. Although it comes with cups and adhesive pads for tension mounting in a doorway, we have had it slip off the door a twice over the last few weeks. It also comes with screws to secure the mounting cups to the wall or door frame. I'm sure this would work great, but you have to want to put screw holes in your wall or doorway, which I was hoping to avoid. But overall this is a nice gate, that is well-built and attractive.

Can't really complain or rave about a shim but just so people know these do the job. I guess some shims can be flimsy and splinter but these are sturdy. Unfortunately I didn't notice how short they are. My last batch were something like 12-14" long, these are 8" -as it clearly states- but I was in a hurry. A Wonderful Story of Magic and High Adventure
James Dashner is a great writer and an all around good guy. In his first book "A Door in the Woods" he tells the strange tale of young Jimmy Fincher and his brush with magic and a dark destiny. The book flows well and is easy to read, making it ideal for younger readers. There are some frightening moments that might be a bit much for really young children but that's the only concern. If you've got kids that like fantasy, this book is a must. Top to learn more

Spectacular Book!
This is an absolutely spellbinding book! It grips the reader from the first words, and won't let go. A wonderful, very easily readable book that young kids, as well as adults can relate to, and enjoy. The character's behavior is realistic and believable. An Acoustic Tribute to The Doors
The Doors have always been an alternative choice for fans. In their heyday in the 60's The Doors were the alternative to "Incense and Peppermint" and "All You Need is Love." Today The Doors are inspiring alternative explorations of their music.All Wood and Doors is twelve of The Doors best known songs, Break on Through, Love Me Two Times, Take It As It Comes, Strange Days, Light My Fire, Touch Me, The Crystal Ship, Soul Kitchen, People Are Strange, Moonlight Drive, Riders on the Storm, and The End. Generally speaking the songs sound like if Jim Morrison had joined The Eagles. I make the comparison not as a shortcut to thinking, but as a reference point, a starting point for fans to climb on board.James Lee Stanley and Cliff Eberhardt give The Doors songs a rough hewn, rustic feel, and at moments feel as if they've transcended into acoustic psychedelic. James Lee Stanley and Cliff Eberhardt - All Wood And Doors (Beachwood)I'm usually adverse too putting long lists of names in my reviews, but when a project such as this - a collection of acoustic versions of Doors songs - boasts a guestlist of Paul Barrere (Little Feat), Laurence Juber (Wings), Timothy B. Schmit (Poco, Eagles), Peter Tork (Monkees), and John Densmore and Robbie Krieger from The Doors, you'll understand why I'm happy to make an exception.It must have been a daunting task for singer-guitarists James Lee Stanley and Cliff Eberhardt to reinterpret such well-known songs, especially with Densmore and Krieger looking over their shoulders (it should be noted that John Densmore in particular is a fierce and vocal protector of The Doors' legacy - ask Ray Manzarek...), so it's to their considerable credit that not only have they approached this material from an original direction they've done so in a way which breathes new life into songs that many will have... Most states OSHA requirements have this for the max. Chemical strippers are probably the safest option for removing lead based paint. In all cases you should work out doors if possible. If an paint is left, repeat the above process with less layers of the stripper. Put on a layer of Dad’s, let it set for about 20 minutes and apply another layer. For a commercially available stripper, the brand name of “Dad’s” is the best I have found (don’t spray it on however, use a brush). Sometimes the doors would fall apart. Heat is the quickest method of multi-layer paint removal. There are several “industrial” strippers available and they are wonderful to use.
