fastest/easiest opening knife out there
The blade is very sharp, and strong. I have been pretty ruff with this thing and the edge hasn't gotten a knick in it that required enough work to remove to say so. The opening mechanism on this knife is about as close to an automatic as you can get. Just push down on the lever and it flicks open or with a flick of the thumb on the stud. It opens very fast. Faster than any of the SOG's that I have(Flash, Twitch, Trident, Pentagon Elite). The size is perfect for one hand operation, open and close it in less than 2 seconds. It is very well made and quite substantial, being heavier than many other knives that I have which lends well to the glass breaking stud on the end. I prefer the lever lock mechanism on this knife to other systems as it is easier to close one handed requiring less and more natural movements. Awesome knife!
To start, I would like to say this is a fine peice of sharpened metal. I mean, EXTREMELY, sharp. Now, I have only had it for a little while, so I'm not sure on how well it will stay sharp over time or how well it keeps up, but straight out of the box, it is fantastic.Pros:Very Sharpserrated blade for those that want one"Open Assist", but dont cut yourself like I didHas a lock, so it wont open on accident and stab your legGrip is awesomeCool rugged lookCons:Very Heavy, if you cant cut someone with it (if you had to) you can always throw it at them!

Very pleased
I bought this knife roughly a month ago, and I can say with some confidence that this is one of the best knives u can get out there when balancing price and quality. This knife should cost over a hundred, maybe more. Incredibly sturdy, i am very rough with this blade and handle, and thee only negative effect so far is that the black has scratched on the edge of the blade itself. Expected. and the scratcing is minimal. Remains as sharp as the day i bought it. ive dropped this thing tens of feet on to stone, metal, wood, and it remains perfectly unharmed. aside from functionality, it simply looks elegant. Almost all black, tastefully curved, it would be great for a collector even. Very easy to use, becomes second nature after a bit of use. Buy this, u will not be disappointed.

Great "field" gloves for military or civilian hard-chargers!
These gloves are at home either in the garage or out in a DZ / LZ. Good snug fit, easily adjustable, and sewn together to last (nice tactical color, as well). Outstanding military gloves that provide excellent impact, vibration, and abrasion protection. NOT for jobs that will require high levels of dexterity, water resistance, or for cold, chemical, flame, or cut protection. In all, a good all-around "field" glove. Semper Fi!

Best on the market !
I have owned a few different brands of the "Mechanics Gloves" . The Mechanix Wear M-Pact 2 model is by far the best pair I've used . They beat the Iron Clad and Craftsmen gloves by a long shot . The extra protection on the back (knuckle and back hand) is why I prefer these gloves . When a wrench slips off and you bang the back of your hand , you're protected from cuts and bruises . The heat resistance is nice also . I work in one of the busiest Sports arenas in the USA , these gloves last me about 1-1/2 years of serious abuse . Worth every penny at $29.99 a pair .

Great glove for military use. I'm in Iraq and am using them on operations in combat environments. Not too thick to where you can't feel through the tips, but durable enough to change a hot barrel. Recommend to everyone in the military.

Thick, protective, though bulky and significant loss in dexterity
I'm a former USAF F-15 Crew Chief and found these worked okay on the jet, giving me security when reaching inside the various doors and panels and not getting burnt or scratched up, but for doing work on my bike as well as using them as protective gloves as riding they're far from ideal. I often have to take a glove off to do something simple.They fit a little loose on me (finger lengths a bit too long) and aren't ugly, but they are bulky and they can't do micro adjustments and have difficulty doing stuff such as handling small objects such as washers, nuts, and pins. I have to take them off to go into pockets since the backing likes to catch on everything. They can't deal with the buttons on my Sansa e260 MP3 player and even have trouble putting the earbuds in.These are a bit overprotective in the wrong areas for almost all occupations. A lumberjack that has to do a lot with brush and branches could possibly make use of these if they didn't catch. A...

My son got iPod Touch 8G (4th Gen) last Christmas and he likes it overall, but there were several issues that we are not so happy about. So, I've decided to try out the Galaxy Player for my daughter. I preordered it through Amazon and, with Amazon Prime, the Galaxy was delivered on Mon, Oct. 17, which was two full days earlier than promised. :-) So, here's what our family's experience has been over last two weeks.- Galaxy 4.0 vs. 5.0: I settled on 4.0 since it is mainly used as a music player and a hand-held game machine for my daughter and, thus, the smaller size makes it more convenient for her to carry it around. I did try out Dell with a 5-inch screen at BestBuy to get the feel for larger 5" screen, and, although I liked it better for web surfing and videos, I felt the 4" would be just fine for her. Very surprising device
I've owned several mp3 players and tablets from microsoft, apple, sony, etc, but none of them attended most of my expectations.When I bought my Samsung Galaxy Player I also bought an iPod touch to compare both at the same time.The Galaxy Player was faster at web browsing, navigating throughout the device in general, etc.Even the ear-buds that come with it are good quality. Better than Apple's. Deep bass and nice distribution on the trebles and mediums. Good balance between tablet and MP3 player
There are a lot of people who are comparing this to the iPod touch, and rightfully so. But I thought I'd give it a different perspective, as someone who has owned both the 4.0 and 5.0.First off, I love these Galaxy Players. They both run the Android OS 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), which is a very slick, smooth, easy-to-use interface. In my opinion, it's a little more complicated than iOS, but nothing that's overwhelming, and if you've used a touch-based OS, you can get the hang of this in no time.Both players are solid and well-built, with GPS, rear and forward-facing cameras, a microSD slot and stereo speakers. Aside from the power and volume buttons, there are no other hardware buttons on either device; the home and menu buttons are touch-sensitive.
