Pray the Rosary Bead by Bead
Although I have never been an avid book reader, I do enjoy reading an occasional book. A couple months ago I decided to buy myself a Kindle from Amazon. I have downloaded about a dozen books so far and am absolutely amazed at how easy and inexpensive it is to download ebooks from the Kindle Store. I read a lot more now days than I ever have in the past; in fact, I carry my Kindle with me most of the time since it contains all of my books of interest in a small device about the size of a small notebook.I also am a lifelong Catholic and have enjoyed using my rosary beads throughout my life to say the rosary. I mostly say it in the privacy of my home or at my church. Recently though that has all changed, very much for the better. I came across the Kindle book by Michael Hart "Pray the Rosary Bead by Bead". I downloaded this book and have reviewed it thorougly. In one word it is EXCELLENT. The cover is beautiful with a picture of Mary overlooking her beloved Son Jesus. Next...

A useful Rosary tool
If you're new to praying the Rosary (I am) or frequently get disturbed while praying the Rosary (as happens when I pray in the early morning, hopefully before my grandchildren want to join me in my bed) this Kindle Edition that is formatted to mimic Rosary beads is great. Yes it is formatted as one prayer per page, and you have to turn the page after every Hail Mary - that's the advantage when a 3-year old bursts in with a "Wake up, Granny!" - your Kindle will keep your place until you can return to the proper contemplative state and complete praying your Rosary. This Rosary book is what it says it is and works the way it says it does and certainly helps with memorising the way the prayers of the Rosary flow.

Product Description
***This Rosary tool has been consistently in the Amazon top ten best selling books of Prayer since its release in May 2011; this includes sales compared to paperback and kindle prayer books. Buy with confidence and may it enhance your opportunity to pray to Our Lady.
VERSION UPDATED DECEMBER 11, 2011 - Changed language of Apostle's Creed to match Catholic Church New Translation, fixed misspelled word "beech" to read "beseech", fixed missing bible verse for Mysteries "Crowning with Thorns" and "Coronation of Mary".
This version of the ancient rosary prayer adds the following unique features:
- Unique eBook formatting that mimics an actual rosary process of moving bead by bead so that each page turn equals one rosary bead.
- Incorporation of quotes from renowned spiritual saints and priests throughout the book.
- Incorporation of biblical passages for each rosary mystery.
This version of the rosary is intended to allow for praying the rosary with the turn of each page acting as a rosary bead. It contains all four rosary mysteries Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous. The table of contents will allow you to jump to any of the four mysteries.
Given that the Kindle, Nook, and other eBook devices allow thousands of books to be carried within them, it makes sense that the most powerful prayer in the world should also be included. Turning one page for each bead of the rosary makes the device feel and respond like a rosary necklace. Praying the rosary is an art which includes a certain rhythm of changing beads and prayers while in contemplation. Other rosary books either teach the prayers or outline the process but don’t account for the rhythm connected to the rosary's art of contemplation. This version allows that process to be integrated into the book itself; no beads required. While I personally love rosary beads, I don’t always have them available. But, I often take my Kindle with me for access to my many books and now for access to my rosary!
I also like having the precise bible scriptures associated with each Mystery integrated into the process itself; it allows a more detailed focus by reading the actual living word of God without losing rhythm. While I personally know what the mysteries are about and what each decade story is, it adds a bit of opportunity to read in detail the bible passages of each mystery while not breaking stride with the prayer process. And, if there is ever a moment of distraction by events around me, I never lose my exact spot in praying the rosary.
I pray that this book enhances opportunity for you to pray the rosary on many occasions when otherwise you may not have, and I hope it enhances your prayers on a regular basis through deeper connection with the scriptures which are the living word of God.

Good intro but some typos
This is a great step-by-step, but the Closing Prayer has "Grant we beech thee" instead of "Grant, we beseech Thee". Since it appears after each set of miracles, all with the same typo, it gets a bit annoying. A great concept though, and a near perfect implementation.
